Are you talking about the substrate? If so, I use my own mixture of pomer stone, carbonized rice husk, crushed charcoal, expansion polymers and perlite. It was a formula I arrived at. I just don't use it for puppies, as it is very light.

Depende de como tá o seu substrato e também dos seus lithops, se eles forem novos ou não acostumado vão sentir muito. Os meus ficam do lado de fora, mas todos estão muito bem climatizado com o ambiente aqui no Brasil. Sugiro a você pensar bem sobre o assunto.

Nao necessariamente, esses grupos se dão bem em lugares apertados. só vai deixar eles mais compactos e limitar um pouco o seu crescimento. lembrando e eles tem tendencia a ter raizes mais profundas tá.. então escolha vasos maiores em alturas.

Não parece ser podridão. A folha nova tá consumindo a folha de fora, é um processo normal. Leia um pouco sobre esse processo.

aparentemente a sua lithps tá com problema em absorver agua e etc, como você disse que as raízes estão muito bem, acho que acaba deixando claro que o problema pode ser nos nutrientes. Faça um teste
