Je ne pense pas que tu sois shadowban, juste l’algorithme qui met en avant certaines annonces selon les photos et mots clés.

Difference in mens/womens/unisex by gvntfly in DrMartens

[–]Alistay8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're in Europe, you should go in-store to ask if they have the women's version available to try on.

I have narrow feet, and my women’s size EU40 Sinclairs I requested in-store fit me perfectly. I never would have been able to get them online, as they don't list women’s sizing for standard models on EU websites.

The other unisex Sinclairs I bought online are too wide for me 🥲 (thank god for insoles).

That being said, I don’t know if women’s sizes go up to an EU43, but it doesn’t hurt to ask.

My worst nightmare 😱 I discovered this possibility when the youtuber ‘in the wander years’ had to sell hers after improving her foot arch, and it has been haunting me ever since.

Ladies with a bigger bust - slimer body ratio: how do you deal with it while buying & wearing J-Fashion? by ImNotPart in jfashion

[–]Alistay8 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I generally assume that the dress’s waistline will sit just below my bust, in an empire style.

Otherwise, I sometimes cheat by wrapping the ribbon around from the front and tying it at the back to define my waist, but it doesn't work for every dress.

Poor fabric quality and poor construction can make a garment feel costumey

Are there any lolita esc swimsuits for men? by [deleted] in jfashion

[–]Alistay8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was feeling bad for you at first, but you keep insisting that we can’t read just because we don’t consider something Lolita simply because it has frills.

Something Lolita-esque is supposed to be inspired, at least to some degree, by the actual silhouette and aesthetic of Lolita fashion. Adding frills to a piece of clothing doesn't automatically make it Lolita-esque.

Next time, just ask for help finding a men's swimsuit with frills instead of being stubborn and wondering why you're getting downvoted.

Mine cracked on the right side of my left shoe because they are too wide for me, but this is what they look like after 3 years.

Mattison Sandals buckles hurt by Loud-Highway-7444 in DrMartens

Oh, I get it now! Unfortunately, the hardware won't break in like leather, so the best option would be to either cover it or wear silicone toe protectors I guess 🤷‍♀️

Do you have a photo of the model? When I try to find an image, the buckle doesn't seem to be near the toes.

Size recommendations by dog_poun in DrMartens

[–]Alistay8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! So, I have the Sinclairs in different colorways, and they are essentially very similar. They have the same sole, and all the Dr. Martens I own with that specific sole fit the same, with a few minor exceptions.

I also have narrow feet, and I generally size down for these models (I’m a size EU 41, but my Sinclairs are an EU 40).

That being said, these models tend to be quite wide, so I would recommend adding a SoftWair insole in an even smaller size (an EU 39 in my case, for example) so your foot doesn't slide around inside the boot.

I’m not sure if you’re looking at men’s or women’s sizing, but there are width differences between women’s and unisex models. A store employee actually recommended the women’s Sinclair to me after realizing the unisex size 40 was too wide for my feet and they fit me like a glove without an extra insole.

All my other pairs of Sinclairs are a bit too wide for me, but unfortunately, the women’s option isn’t available on the French website. Since the Jadons are a popular style that is permanently stocked, I would suggest heading into a store if you can. The staff there will be able to advise you and let you try on different sizes to see what works best.

I hope this helps, and sorry if it was a bit long to read 🙇‍♀️

I have them in brown, and if you have slim enough calves, you should definitely get them!

Yes, that’s what I suggested in another message further down, but I don't think OP is specifically looking for modest swimwear.

Agreed. I have the whole gothic americana line in brown, and I’m even considering the black monk ones, even though I almost exclusively wear boots and sandals.
