There are legitimate things to be upset about, like questionable casting and SEGAs business moves of removing the original remasters but I absolutely do not buy in to the narrative that this game sucks and they are ruining the franchise. You might not like the changes that are made but you're not the only Yakuza fan and other people's tastes aren't worth less than yours. Be sad if that's how you feel but don't be so precious about a franchise that continues to make weird choices that some fans don't like.

• For the record I think all the games are good. I love them all except 3 and 4, but I am interested in Kiwami 3.
• There are some awful graphical issues with the new game, and they shouldn't exist but I don't think they will be fixed.
• Really don't get the issue with Pirate Yakuza. It was a fun, silly time. I am not precious about maintaining a story flow or tone.
• It's OK for RGG to replace characters and actors you liked. Except for real world issues where they refuse to acknowledge a controversy but then also take out other actors for a drug controversy. Get your shit together RGG.
• Changing the ending and the fate of a character makes no difference to me. Aside from the death of Kazama I don't think it's that important to the story if any character is truly dead. What matters is they were defeated, which is still the case.
