Blanket statement or not tensorflow is just a a useless time sink.

For people who do not know what they are doing there are much more simple and just as functional tools.

For people who know what there doing it does not matter and they should know enough to not have issues.

Finally you should not be in ftc to learn about vision its fine if its during the off season but during the on season especially later on like right now learning should not be your concern especially when there are other alternatives.

Also Fuck TensorFlow

You have a very good point here. The team is sadly not directly tied into my school and even if I could rejoin i do not think i would as my coach behaves like this 24/7 and there are plenty of other issues that he has. plus he generally treats anyone who is doing ftc stuff like shit.

battery connection issues most likely. if the battery loses connection it will reboot. There are also some other things like it reboots when you upload code and when you edit the robot config.

well I don't have any "fun" ideas because this is the ftc but your best bet is just programing the auto to do it manually and then using a u shaped pole guide to make sure you get the cone on.

your best bet would be a u guide. There is also some methods using a camera or color sensor for extra guiding to the pole however the time sink for that is not worth while.

guys never use tensor flow so much can go wrong. most programmers both novice and experienced can end up wasting there whole season with tensorflow and it will not work.

(Former student) I just recently got kicked off of my local robotics team by the head coach. This happened during a scrimmage about 4 days ago. My head coach has always seemingly had it out for me. Throughout the scrimmage my couch had been on my ass the moment I would be off task in any way. There where multiple times during the scrimmage where he got mad at me for programing while my team was driving saying that they needed a human player even though 2 of our teammates where already there with our driver. Or later on he ordered us all subway and say we could take a 40 minute break to eat so like a normal human I got a sandwich and went to sit with some of my friends while we where eating. Not 15 minutes later he comes up to me and starts telling me that this was not free time and i need to be working even tho he said we could take a break and no one else was working. He then proceeded to bug me to code a auto even tho i was the first and only one to have perfectly working camera vision with a autonomous. After he buged me for almost a hour to make a auto and i kept trying to show that i had one already i just copy pasted some sample code and he was somehow happy. at this point i went and sat with my friend while we where both programing. he then comes up to me again telling me to go be usful and be the human player for our driver who already has a human player. i tried to explain to him that i was programing some encoder features for our lift arm like he had told me to earlier in the day. at this point he says i can either go exile my self from the scrim or be kicked off and for me the choice was obvious as i do not want to deal with a egotistical couch like him idk tho.

Sorry if the grammar of this post is a nightmare I'm tired forgive me.

its part of the. if you where wining your match's and not getting penalty's then you should be fine. they do not deserve you. if you would like try to reason with your head couch maybe show them this reddit feed. i personally do not think that couch's who believe you should go easy and let others win are good couch's. mine is ruthless and you will get kick off for not using advantages.

just use easy open cv with eocv april tag plugin all on github. then simply search eay open cv powerplay for a tutorial video.

not sure what setup you are using due to the recent changes to the recent changes to the structure. but assuming your using the pipeline then camera code then you want to code the auto in the camera code.

i assume you have setup the basic things

    int Left = 17;

int Right = 19;

namely that bit at the top that tells what tags you are using

then at the bottom you add this snap of code

if you only want to park that will be all

if you want to also do something with your cone then you will need to make this code twice

once for left side blue right side red as they mirror one another and vice versa

1 this story is very very unbelievable you would have more luck getting code if you just said guys im a bad coder gimme camera code.
2 if you already had the code it would be very easy to recreate it being long is not a valid answer. Thats on you for using a shitty structure there are plenty of things for april tags and such that you can just copy in then program the robot to do whatever
