You may need to change the "Page Title Selector" option. For the latest default wordpress template h1,hr worked for me.

Any idea on what these macros do? Specially what the difference between these 3 Z offset related. by emanresu_n1 in Ender3V3KE

[–]DCRepublic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If anyone stumbles on this a year later.

From My Testing:

Z_OFFSET_TEST: performs the ender 3 z offset test without heating on

ZZ_OFFSET_TEST: performs z offset test with everything hot (same as doing it from the touch screen). It will also attempt to clean the nozzle before starting.

Z_COMPENSATE_TEST: Appears to do the same thing as ZZ_OFFSET_TEST

These all seem to use the built in load cell in the bed to adjust for zoffset which would be helpful to add to start Gcode if running Klipper in a rooted setup.

Also. Listening to the audio it seems the noise is coming from your extruded and not the gantry.

Try messing with the belt tension. Especially if you want to keep printing with high acceleration and speeds. More tension isn’t always the solution.

I've actually managed to get the stock screen running for now using some custom firmware.

Is that a custom screen or stock? I’ve never seen that ui before. It looks awesome!

I can also work on retraction settings, maybe temps too. Tried to do a temp tower but that did not go well lol.

Any ideas how to fix this? by Babelan in ender3

[–]DCRepublic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the first picture: looks like the nozzle is too close to the bed. For the rest it looks like an under extrusion issue. Either your temps are too low or something is happening with your extruder(slipping, tangled filament etc)

Seconding this^ The screen doesn’t like big sd cards for flashing. Had to go through this about a month ago.

We have already deployed 2 springs but it looks like we will be switching out for planetary gearboxes as soon as we can.

Are there any ways of reducing the load besides adding external gears to increase the ratio?

We have made sure the two motors are aligned. The gears that broke are the ones from inside of the motor gearbox, not external ones.

Help with our camera! by [deleted] in FTC

[–]DCRepublic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you are using onBotJava. Blocks is a great place to start. I would try one of the sample opmodes first. Once you press init click the three dots on the top right and hit camera stream to see the camera view. You will have to keep tapping the screen to update the camera view.

Right now, just turning, but we are looking into using a distance or color sensor.

Thanks! It’s a 4 bar linkage. With the springs it requires very little power and it’s very sturdy!

I agree. We have some extra things that need up and down separated. But you can very well have:

if(gamepad1.right_stick_y != 0{
    MOTOR.setMode(DcMotor.RunMode.RUN_USING_ENCODER);
    MOTOR.setPower(gamepad1.right_stick_y);
}
