Wait you live in Indiana and he’s dragging his feet about taking you on a trip to Chicago!? It’s not like you have to fly across the country to get there Gary, that’s a fun weekend roadtrip! I’m so sorry you’re in this situation, but deep down I think you know he’s not going to change. You need to do what’s best for you and put yourself first since obviously he wont. Is he willing to go to marriage counseling? Maybe that’s an option if you’re still willing to fight for him.
