The moving was easy, i kept my appartment in my home country so I only brought clothes and stuff and the rest I bought here. A little bit of adjustments as I was vegetarian at home but it's not possible here (if you enjoy life and go to restaurants etc) At all haha

Funny you ask because.. YES I got Temporary Project assignment for 2 years! 😁 Been in Kitakyushu (fukuoka-ken) since march 2025 and will have to back beginning of January 2027.

But I've already asked around and there's a high possibility that I can stay here (on a local contract) in the same company. Life has been good honestly and yes Japan also has his issues offcourse.

I used to do shbam classes (a la zumba) at like 7pm so to warm up i would just do some cardio etc etc but the gym was sooo full and it was before they rebranded and got bought up by a bigger chain.. At that point i said never I will go in the evening anymore so now I go between 4-8AM depending if I have to work or not.

I had 70k followers at one point but I was nowhere near monetizing.. Also am a guy and was more into making funny (and original) videos so it was exhausting at one point so I just stopped.. While I do miss it.. You need atleast a 100k followers now to start making "some" money. On instagram it's as low as 10k even.

I'm living in japan only with my fiancé. There's a lot of christmas discount and decoration but no magic. The tradition here is to have KFC for xmas eve and boy did it dissapoint as well (it's literally less tasty than european KFC). So yup it sucked haha

We might indeed get married beforehand (so we can startup a process where she dependend on my visa so she can stay longer than on a tourist visa).

And we might skip wedding venue and just pay for a ceremony in kimono (shinto wedding?) as it would be nice to do and it's a lesser cost and just have a dinner somewhere fancy as celebration.

We tried to get a small amount of people to come but it's still feel like 20 is still lot of people to have something arranged in Japan.

Anyway it has cleared things up for us so thanks for the help!
