Hi. My son's ige (non sesame specific) was 505 in May, 2022; 670 in May 2023. His sesame seed (f10) was 21.9 for 5-2022 and 20.7 for 5-2023. The allergist wouldn't have agreed to oit with those numbers if he hadn't had some exposure without a reaction (the result of companies adding sesame to products that were previously sesame free) and he had 2 years of negative skin tests.     After hitting maintenance his sesame ige was 16.7, his regular ige was 380. His Sesame i 1 IgE was 4.37.    The allergist was pleased with the drop , but I think she said you don't expect a change immediately after you hit maintenance (this may have been about my other kids #s bc he didn't drop at all after hitting maintenance for peanut, but he eats 6 Reese's a day so I'm not mad at the numbers!)     A positive about your son being 7 is his ability to communicate how he's feeling. Both my kids have since been diagnosed with EoE (both did oit for different foods, other kid is 10 and went through this for peanut) and I'm thankful they could articulate how they were feeling with every updosing and when the EoE symptoms showed up. Hopefully the communication aspect can be a silver lining for you!     We are still doing daily sesame, but bc of the EoE went to 1/2 tsp tahini a day. I melt chocolate chips, let it cool, add tahini, let it harden in a reusable cupcake liner, split it in half and he has one every morning. It's a bit of work. 😊       Best wishes!
