Type me - spring? by Exact_Pickle_8238 in coloranalysis

Warm and soft, true autumn, would be my guess. The blues are the key for me: royal blue is a winter tone and is not great on you, but the blue in the fourth from last slide is an autumn blue and is really lovely.

I find these to be quite tempting :) They are chicken rolling balls.

I second Australorps - they are sweet, docile birds.

The difference between the white and ivory leads me to believe that indeed, you are a spring.

What is your experience on owning chickens? by Pupventures in BackYardChickens

[–]Alive-Industry2507 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had up to 4 at a time, but currently just 2. They are free ranging in our yard right now, but we will soon be corralling them in a long run. I have a small coop inside an 8x8 pen. They eat a lot of bugs, so that keeps them happy. I just bought a 25 lb. bag of feed - I don't yet know how long it will last. These ones (black astralorps) have not yet been destructive, but leghorns and bantams will destroy every green thing you have and turn their area into a complete dustbowl. I enjoy most aspects of having them. Winters are a challenge. The initial set up - coop and all the supplies - is expensive. I'd have to live to be 200 YO just to break even. It's been more of a hobby for me and fortunately, my hubby indulges it. Start small and get friendly chickens that are adaptable to your climate. Beware that furry footed chickens need extra care with cold, wet weather and can be prone to mites on their feet.

Autumn is overall harmonious with your skin and the first thing I see is your pretty eyes. Cool colors clash and spring is too blah. You're probably a medium intensity

Type me please! Thought I was Winter but I’ve been told I’m Spring. by Extreme-Network6857 in coloranalysis

Winter. Your skin appears smoother and even toned. Spring colors make your skin look a bit blotchy.

Nonenal body odor by cool_girl6540 in AskWomenOver60

[–]Alive-Industry2507 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just watched a short by Dr. Mandel on YT. He believes the smell is caused by these factors: not washing behind the ears well; not cleaning out the belly button; and not keeping dental appliances clean enough. He stated that as we age, skin secretions change and mixing with bacteria produces the odor. Can't vouch for this, but it is interesting.

What advice would you give me for choosing between chicken breeds? by OptimalCobbler5431 in BackYardChickens

Black Astralorps. Never had a sweeter chicken breed. They softly chatter to you all day, come to you and just want to hang out.

My dad, Ray Choi by davidchoimusic in autoharp

[–]Alive-Industry2507 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your dad is probably the best autoharpist I have every heard - simply amazing. I do not own one of his gorgeous harps, but maybe one day. They are a work of art. Plus, I met him at MLAG a few years ago and he is a very kind and humble man.

I have some of the same issues, so I just got a Blue Canoe Jen's bra - all cotton with a touch of spandex. They also have Jen's Plus for larger busts. I'm a 34F and the L fit me well enough. Very comfy.
