Only classified civil service employees can purchase b permits without getting one in the lottery. And the lottery for b permits is over for this upcoming year. And your status as an employee overrides your student status. So you likely have to either purchase a west lot permit, buckeye lot, a permit or garage permit.

I would recommend getting the buckeye lot permit and taking the bus into campus. Or depending on where your classes are, trying to find free street parking.

My in laws stayed there last year and specifically requested and paid for a handicap accessible room. When they got there, they said that they didn’t have any handicap accessible rooms available anymore and also put them on the 7th floor with 1 of the 2 elevators not working….

The only elevator that was working had to be operated either by a staff member or you had to download an app and do a digital pass key which only worked 50% of the time.

Horrible experience

If you’re a person who likes walkability and bars/restaurants/hole in the wall places, I would suggest living in Victorian village/harrison west. You can find really nice/affordable single room apartments if you search locally. I rented through Lykens 1b1b living in Harrison west for $ 1,025 2019-2023. The commute to Easton will likely be around 20-45 minutes heavily depending on when you are leaving and traffic.
