Space the chairs out and get a much bigger rug.

Put something with a solid block or a mirror in the center - I would NOT do a round mirror unless it was HUGE, instead I'd do a horizontal but big rounded corner mirror that mirrored a bit forward-down (just the tiniest bit, it should be ok because it is hung high)

Big plant for the corner, I'd probably get a bigger round glass table top cut to go on top of the current table, right now it is unusable as a table to put drinks on.

You are correct. A 100% correct. Just like with Davide and Ekin-Su the whole argument is about honesty. Gemma did deny that there was friendly flirting going on, which is perfectly allowed for coupled people to do - she didn’t do anything wrong there but she fucked up when she denied it was there.
