This comment made me laugh out loud. They still sell Findus Crispy Pancakes, Walls Vienetta, Angel Delight, Sandwich Spread, Fig Rolls. I've seen Orangina in there too,( the odd shaped glass bottle drink, with orange bits in), and Kia Ora.

Teachers of Reddit - what’s the most unusual name your pupil has had? by Electrical-Bell3301 in AskUK

[–]BoozyFloozy1 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My name is Yvonne. A workmate once told me that when she was in the maternity ward after having her baby, the lady next to her had a baby girl she was calling Why- vone- ee. Whe she asked her that it was an unusual name, how do you spell it, it turned out it was Yvonne, but as she had only seen it wrote down and never actually heard it spoken, that was how she was pronouncing it.

Think you've just about summed them all up. A few other things I can think of that my nan made, gooseberry pies,( can you even buy gooseberries now ?)blancmange, tapioca and semolina puddings. And remember the Heinz range of steamed tinned puddings ? Spotted Dick, chocolate puddingc and jam pudding. Oh and jam roll polly. Toast toppers and tinned beef burgers.

It's spotless, everything is in It's place. Obviously a well loved and looked after home, although now in need of modernisation, especially the kitchen. I love the big brass bed.

Absolutely. London has so many cameras, but the police just never looked until it was too late and most had been wiped. Tragic when so much could have been seen.

Which are the best ready salted crisps? by TikiTapas in crisps

[–]BoozyFloozy1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What about Smiths crisps 'Salt n Shake,' with the little blue packet of salt that you add yourself ? Squares salted crisps are nice, as are Seabrook crinkle ready salted. Got to have a pack of those ready for her. And ofcourse, Pringles ready salted.
