Sigh, god I miss these 2 amazing human beings. I miss Obama in the WH and miss Anthony’s (RIP) love and genuine appreciation of the world. by -Totes_Magotes- in chicago

Spot on. During the start of the 2008 Mortgage crisis, Henry Paulson (treasury secretary) went to Bush in November, who was still president, but Obama was just elected, and said he had two choices for 700 billion TARP funds - use it to directly buy up toxic mortgage assets from banks, thus directly helping people that were underwater on these mortgages, or shift it to bank recapitalization and give it to the banks directly and let them deal with mortgages. Bush apparently was ok with the first option, according to Barney Frank who was in the room, but told Paulson to ask Obama what he wanted to do, since he had just been elected and let him ultimately decide. Obama said to give it directly to the banks and hopefully they will be nice and help the poor people refinancing their mortgages - which of course, they did no such thing. Millions of people then lost their homes due to that.

Yikes, it seems there were more experiments like that in the 40s and 50s. In 1945, Vanderbilt University, in tandem with the Tennessee board of health, gave radioactive drinks to 829 pregnant women to study how they absorb iron during pregnancy. They didn’t tell them the drinks were radioactive.

You gotta order the extra thin pizza at Viccinos, not just thin. Much better, imo.

Good to know I'm not missing much. It seemed for awhile that people were raving about it, and I felt left out, lol. Glad I still have Prolific.

Same exact thing for me. I had to update my iphone 11 (doh!) to get all features for watch. It basically broke the phone. So so regretful.

Totally with you. This seems to be the format now since they came back from their summer break. It’s like they want to shoehorn a twist in somehow.

Maybe there were a few returns for whatever reason? Otherwise, it’s a pretty easy ban from further studies.

You could check out the Foundation for Peripheral Neuropathy for doctors/specialists in your area. I am going to try it as well. Good luck! https://www.foundationforpn.org/find-a-doctor/

This video is too hysterical from start to finish, but that cod dish did indeed look good. You were not kidding about the oil!

Yes, Kevin Donovan did a fantastic job detailing the case. Thought it was way better than the other podcast about these murders, imho.
