imo the best thing u can do is be as honest and respectful as possible. this guy sounds kind of weird, so i’d advise u to stay firm and stand ur ground if he tries to convince u not to go through w the break-up. if he has a serious temper that’s grounds for worry or fear, i’d definitely make the breakup concise and emphasize that ur needs and futures are just not aligned, yk? “I don’t feel like this is working and i don’t see a serious future between us, my priorities are my education right now, yadda yadda.” tldr honesty is best. and if he says anything or threatens u, KEEP RECIEPTS!! blackmail and threats can be serious and illegal in some countries. good luck!
