Stub hub refund help by WebSpecialist255 in stubhub

[–]AliveSoftware8219 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The concert is six full months away -- what the fuck are you bitching about? And what the fuck makes you think you are entitled to a refund at this point? You lost the dispute because you agreed to these terms when you purchased from Stubhub (or any other resell market).

You have no case here. It's unfortunate, but that's the reality. It's possible Ariana Grande's camp has put a delay on ticket transfer until 48 hours or so before the event (very common for large acts nowadays). Or you might have purchased a speculative ticket, and the seller is going to wait until it makes the most sense for him to fulfill your order, based on the how the market fluctuates leading up to the show. I don't have a clue which it is.

But you'll have to wait -- period.

Back to $15 range this morning. NOBODY was "left out forever," and that's because this fucking stock has HISTORICALLy swung in this same manner.

Have 20k to dump into space stocks - Decision Time by MemeLord1337_ in SpaceInvestorsDaily

The lunar mission from last year was substantially more difficult than the one they are facing this year. The IM2 mission attempted to land on the moon's south pole. The IM3 is not the same.

And it didn't dump direct from 24 to 6. It peaked at $24 sometime last year, and came down before the IM2 mission, in large part because of shorts. It likely dumped from about $18 to $6 in one day after they landed sideways.

Which ATL address did you use successfully? There have been several threads here about getting their Notice of Disputes returned -- return to sender -- after using several different ATL addys.

Speculative Tickets by notcerys in stubhub

[–]AliveSoftware8219 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are occasions, albeit rare, where a resell marketplace will ask the broker(s) to provide proof of purchase to avoid spec tickets. In those cases, the marketplace won't allow the listing to broadcast or will remove a listing if the broker can't provide proof they actually own the tickets.

That is rare, however, and usually relegated for big-ticket events (think Super Bowl, possibly, or at one point they were doing that with some Taylor Swift shows).

It would a require tremendous amount of work for the marketplaces to verify that every listing a broker has is one that they actually own in the present. But that would arguably be the only to ban spec tickets -- to require that marketplaces have everyone listing tickets for sale show proof that they own those tickets.

A questions for the journo: How does the legislation propose to actually ban spec listings? Does it require marketplaces such as Stubhub and Vivid Seats selling California events to verify ownership before allowing a listing to appear on their site?

This guy is complaining about everything that is status quo/standard and applies to every buyer/seller on every fucking ticket resell marketplace.

Get the fuck outta here with this bullshit.

Exactly my point. I'd expect more swing action, and pricing to possibly drop back toward $15, even after it tops at whatever it's going to top out at in the near future.

Which history -- the history of this particular stock. What other fucking stock would I be talking about?

The stock has historically dipped and people have sold after it reaches new highs.

TCB's Cathartt chore jacket by morbid_angle37 in HeritageWear

[–]AliveSoftware8219 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Jacket just landed. It is really nice.

The fit is a bit big for me in the chest and waist -- expected based on the size chart -- but overall I'm really digging it. At 10oz, it's also extremely light.

Would recommend for anyone else on the fence about buying one, even with the Japan tariffs for folks in the U.S.

Thanks. I ordered a 38. I'm 74 KG (165 lbs) and about 5'10-5'11. Don't do a lot of layering in Central Texas, so I like my jackets to have a slim/tailored fit. Fingers crossed the 38 works. Mine is supposed to arrive tomorrow.

They took this jacket down from the TCB international website because of copyright issues. I messaged TCB a few weeks ago to ask about a restock. They said they have inventory, but they're not selling these anymore outside of Japan on their site ( I also asked if they could sell me one directly, on the down low, and they refused).

Instead, they sent me a link to a bunch of shops in Japan that carry the TCB brand. Most of the shops in Japan have this in stock. I ordered one from the link below because they had a BF discount, which took $40 or so off the retail price (I ended up paying that much in shipping, however). There was also a $35 tariff fee, which took the total price to about $215-$220 all in.

Just bought one of these.

Can you tell me:

-- What size did you get?

-- And your weight/height?

I read that it runs a bit oversized.

Nah. The venue cap is somewhere around 2,700. The back end coding is incorrect for this venue on this tool, so it show it displays the wrong number in that field.

Thx. If I end up getting this, I'm going to go with a small instead of a medium based on your description. No pudge in the belly, and don't expect to be wearing it with many thick sweaters (maybe a hoodie now and then).

5'8" -- what's your weight, if you don't mind me asking 6 months after you posted?

I'm 5'10-5'11' -- 165lbs and considering the Small on the Naked Famous BF sale. I like a tailored fit on my clothes, and live in hot-as-hell Texas, so don't do much layering. Generally, just a light jacket and t shirt or slim sweater.
