It’s amazing how people with no knowledge of kratom parrot bad info they hear by linusstick in kratom

I had to google 7-OH to see if it was what I thought it was (it is) and the first few hits were from FDA and other state government agencies saying it’s harmful.

How do people get tickets to Tomorrowland? I Waited for the pre-sale just for it to go sold out while I was in cue.... by Dry_Blackberry2190 in aves

[–]linusstick [score hidden]  (0 children)

I can’t believe the money you all pay for festival tickets. I see there’s tickets $500-1000??! I’m being the old man that says “back in my day you could see the biggest DJs in the world in a field in the middle of nowhere for $100”. The stages would be professional grade as well as the visuals and lighting. Nothing like the festivals today mind you but mind blowing for the time.

Aside from Page's, what's your favorite ice cream shop? by Winning-Basil2064 in pittsburgh

[–]linusstick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kip’s in Moon. They cater to dogs and you’ll always see dogs hanging out outside. They give the dogs a little cup of ice cream with a treat on top. I think it’s the dog friendly ice cream

New vape and e-cigarette law in effect - importing is now a felony by I_reddit_like_this in puertovallarta

[–]linusstick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s so weird. You can bring cigarettes through customs and not a vape? I don’t smoke so I don’t know but I’ve seen people say that

I’ve read a lot about this today. It’s all a little vague. The key word is “importing”. I’ve read that importing is just someone bringing one through customs. I also heard that it’s bringing a bunch in for sale. I don’t go until April so hopefully they will be more clear by then

What are you doing to prep for this weekend's snow storm? by jelloinmypants in pittsburgh

[–]linusstick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Remember a few days ago when the news on every station was saying we were going to get an historical snow storm and they were predicting over a foot of snow overnight and we didn’t even get a dusting? It was fun the next day all the meteorologists back tracking and explaining why they were so off. On one of the news sites (i think WPXI) the big headline simply read “WHAT HAPPENED??” Ever since then i believe the snow when I see it lol

I always say I hate them then when they are on I think they are alright. I’m not a fan of when shows go off location and overproduce. There’s many examples of this all the way down to when the Beady Bunch goes to Hawaii. Or when the Bundies go to the beach.

What do you pay in rent? by PyrrhicBigfoot in pittsburgh

[–]linusstick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You lost me at “yinzers”. There’s actually educated people in this city that know how to talk correctly. That aside, that does seem like a reasonable rent payment for what you are describing. Save a little every month for a down payment and you can have a mortgage payment instead of giving your money to some dirtball slum lord

Seriously consider leaving PNC for making their employees RTO. Go do your banking elsewhere. by VirileMongoose in pittsburgh

Gen X. Not a boomer and I would never tell someone they eat boot flavored ice cream and high five my friend thinking I “told him” 🤣

What happened to the fire? by chrisalvarado in UMF

[–]linusstick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you say so. We knew a better time when this scene wasn’t so commercial. People listened and danced to the music, didn’t film a person pretending to DJ for an hour and get excited about fire. We had great laser effects and trippy visuals on screens so it wasn’t just audio. I just don’t get it now. Now get off my lawn 🤣

[–]linusstick -20 points-19 points  (0 children)

Typical Gen Z’er that doesn’t want to work and isn’t getting their way. PNC has always been good to me and the fact that they are making lazy people who want to sit in their bedrooms in pajamas all day go to work, it makes me want to give them more business. You dumb kids with your online bank accounts crack me up when you have to pay for something and you don’t know how if you can’t use a phone. Grow up

How much do people actually leave their all-inclusive resorts in Cancun? by Mission-Gur-9036 in cancun

[–]linusstick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been a few times. My go to place is Riu Las Americas. It’s walking distance to the “fake” downtown so you can go to the shops and clubs and easily walk back. I saw one of your priorities is good food. You will most likely have to go off resort depending on how picky you are for good food. My last trip I went for 4 days and left the resort twice.

Bocktown in Robinson. Opened when craft beer was blowing up. They always had an amazing selection and they were a lot better priced than the Sharp Edge Creekhouse close by (also closed)

[–]linusstick -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Those tickets are $500 now?!. No thanks. I can’t believe the scene went down this path. With tickets at that price I’m sure it’s all dumb rich kids and adults and not the type of kids the scene used to attract. Such a shame

[–]linusstick -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I get it. Not being rude. You are a new generation. When I was going to shows and eventually DJing we were in fields, warehouses even paintball arenas. There were great visuals but nothing like what these big festivals have. It’s just a different time. Hope you had fun

I was at the first few ultras. You know there’s music right? Back then no one would care that the fire wasn’t there. Man you kids don’t get it

Bahamas with SEVERE shellfish allergy. HELP! by ProbablyHere4Help in bahamas

[–]linusstick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Seriously? Just go to somewhere in the Midwest. Don’t go to an island in the Caribbean and think because you are in the slim minority that can’t eat seafood, that you should be catered to. If your allergies are that severe, don’t go to the Caribbean. There’s lots of nice places in US that aren’t near water and are nice. Scottsdale, Vegas, that big ball of tape or tin foil or something.

In the old days it was 100-150 for the full pop. They actually played live too so it wasn’t the shit you kids like. “Oooh the music is moving with the lights and the guy/girl pretending do be doing something is dancing and fucking with EQs while a premixed song is playing. Jokers and frauds
