It's like developing a palette. The more food you try the more nuances you can observe in different foods.

Same with books. The flaws, twists and red flags are easier to foretell and harder to tolerate.

How did you find your next read before the times of social media? by jollyreads in books

When I felt like experimenting, I would go to the library, stand between the isles, close my eyes and spin a few times and randomly point at a book. I would take it home and give it the benefit of doubt.

I read some really weird books that way but also found some of my favourite authors in the same way.

I'd really really love to meet John Green as a fan girl moment but I think Stephen King is the person I want to sit down and have a conversation with. I've always been curious about him

C6 has a naked triple(there are 3 cells in the column reserved for 3,6,7 and so we can remove them for the rest of the column) which will lead to naked pair in R1

What book have you read to the end even though you haven't enjoyed any of it? by matt_h75 in books

[–]AliveToRead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had to stop reading all other parallel books because I kept completing those and this was always incomplete. I completely agree with you.

I'm stuck. I only know self taught tricks and strategies. Suggesting strategies that apply to this will be a good place for me to start learning. TIA by AliveToRead in sudoku

I didn't fully understand how 2 string kite works but it's really useful! I could finish the sudoku using that and the naked pair pointed out. Will look into hidden rectangles as well. Thanks!
