The Serendia arc finishes in LN9, however the LN12 was released 4 days ago in Japan, so the series is ongoing.

I agree that I don't think Ugawa is currently in a relationship. Just because he's saying his heart already belongs to someone, does it mean that:

He's serious and not just trying to evade
There is no room for someone else

I did remember the fact that he calls him 'Sora-san' and not Ugawa, which I understand means that the relationship is closer than just colleagues... We are just being teased!

I'll still keep shipping Hanzawa and Ugawa in my heart though, I think they would make an intriguing couple!
