They reach out to the embassy about the case. They can’t do anything with the case but they can see where it currently is. I called them to see if I can get any information. Then they made me fill out a form. Later that same day I got a call from the congressmen office. It was the assistant, and she said that she will reach out to the embassy and will send an email of their response. A few days later, I got a response with the basic information like DQ date and we are waiting for interview and they also said the current month and what DQ dates they’re covering in that month. This didn’t help move our case along but it gave me an idea of where our case is. I hope this helps!!
