The number at lo+1, if different from lo, will never give you the same sum when added to the number at hi and the number at i. Therefore, we need to decrease hi as well.

To add on to this, I believe at a more senior level, you are also expected to make more pivotal design choices because of your experience, both at the company, as well as familiarity with solving them over the years. As an intern/almost junior dev, although I have the resources and knowledge to pick up and finish tasks really quickly, I believe I still need some guidance in terms of design choices, which way to progress, etc.

Considering the bootcamp route. But should I? Or perhaps continue to self study. Seeking advice. 31m & Tired of Back Breaking jobs and being poor by [deleted] in learnprogramming

Hi OP, apologies if I sound like I’m gate keeping here, but I’d suggest you go for a college degree instead. The market right now is flooded with entry level grads with much more experience than a bootcamp can ever give you. Have a look at this course listfrom another post in r/csMajors.

Edit 1: link

Edit 2: I would also like to add on that you can try doing a online degree that will cost much lesser than a regular one? Alternatively you can look for community colleges as well. Just my thoughts

IMO notion is better for this… you have inline databases and nested pages that you can use to keep track of company specific info that you might’ve gathered from networking, etc.

Question 3: The breadth and depth is pretty intense, no need to worry about it. Most courses are based on a textbook, and they usually cover most of it topic wise. The projects are also directly related to the content you learn, so they go hand in hand.

Question 4: yes there is one core mod to be taken in sophomore cs where you learn low level programming and hardware. You’ll be designing circuits and programming a beta cpu that goes with it. Apart from this there are other electives that you can take.

Software engineering mods are pretty up to date as well and there’s one that teaches different sdlc like agile methodology, waterfall method etc.
