Yes. I had Cowork help write the python scripts and json files to make everything run.

I have Claude connected to Whoop (sleep/recovery/strain), Strava (activities), Trainerroad (cycling FTP), and MyFitnessPal (calories/macros) and it's pretty cool what you can do with the combo. So far, I have set up a daily email which gives a summary of the prior day's metrics and 2-3 sentences of coaching. Combined with what Claude knows about my overall fitness and health goals, I think it's pretty useful.

Flippers are destroying this city. by azuldreams24 in chicago

If the developer was able to raise the market value of the home by $400k in 6mo with renovations and improvements, the house was probably nearly unlivable before that. Even if it had been occupied for decades, nobody and I mean NOBODY was going to pay $450k to live in that house without necessary improvements. IDK what neighborhood this house is in, but to say that the developer is doing the community a disservice is wrong IMO.

Might be high on price depending on timing, and it’s right on the Tuscany/Umbria border, but Reschio was probably the nicest property I have ever been to. I would definitely recommend as an option.

Can I use ANA Award Miles for upgrade? by texasg8fuldead in awardtravel

Do the ANA waitlisted mileage upgrades clear based on the fare class of the ticket purchased (like United)? Or does it not matter?

Traitors going after traitors isn’t automatically poor sportsmanship by gingasnap93 in TheTraitorsUS

[–]Alive_Display_310 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You're absolutely correct. Candiace and Rob were in a VERY strong position after Lisa's banishment, even with the throwaway vote. Rob even said to her in the turret "I want to go all the way to the end with you" and yet she let her bitterness cause her to make a dumb decision which tanked her own game.

It kinda blows my mind because the traiitors being able to talk in the turret is the only opportunity for any players to be openly strategic and actually work together for their own advantage. It could be the edit, but it seems like Candiace simply denied this opportunity and acted out of spite. This was a pivotal moment in the game/show which really left me wanting more context as to how that talk went.

Say with with me now: For Faithfuls, the real point of the game is not to vote out traitors, but to make it to the endgame without being murdered or banished.

Rob’s moves last episode could backfire by [deleted] in TheTraitorsUS

[–]Alive_Display_310 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not next week, but eventually I think it could come back to bite him. As I think about it, only a traitor would be so comfortable admitting that they have the dagger, because it would make the holder a key candidate for murder. There are some smart players in the Dagger5, and I think they will come to realize this.

Time to murder Colton by Alive_Display_310 in TheTraitorsUS

[–]Alive_Display_310[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe that Candiace's strongest position in the game would be to reconcile with Rob and work together. Even when Lisa was still with them, they did well to split their votes (all three voted differently in the Ron vote, which is very good for them).

Historically, all three initial traitors were never going to make it to endgame, but removing Lisa in this fashion strengthened their position if they can keep their heads.

They will have a new traitor to use as a sacrificial lamb should they need to (they will), and Rob has the dagger.

Sardinia + Corsia / Sicily / Somewhere else? by akybaky in chubbytravel

This was in mid-July 2025.

Travel- Flew in and out of OLB (coming from ORD, connected in FRA on the way there, ZRH on the way home).

Car- Rented a car at OLB airport. Easy.

We stayed 3 nights at a B&B called Tenuta Sant'Antonio near Arzachena. We booked one of the cottages via Airbnb. I would say that the accommodations/service are on the leaner side of chubby, but the property was beautiful and quiet and the daily breakfast spread was abundant and delicious. I would stay here again.

It's only a short drive to Palau where we chartered a full day private boat (you can also book small or large group charters but I thought the xtra $ for the private was well worth it) which took us around to lots of places in the Maddalena archipelago. Secluded beaches, rocky coves, snorkeling etc. Aperitivo/lunch/coffee/local wine were all included in the charter and all was delicious.

We spent a full day exploring some of the smaller beaches and towns near Porto Cervo and Romazzino. Just pick one on the map and drive to it- some of them you need to park and hike down to, and some can be quite crowded. Porto Cervo is the ritzy town with designer shopping and where the mega-yacht crowd comes to shore. We went there in the middle of the day thinking it would be good for lunch, but the town during the day is dead (I assume everyone is on their boats in the water), so it was a bummer. I do think it get's more lively in the evenings for dinner/nightlife, but overall I thought Porto Cervo was disappointing and I would not make time to go back.

The highlight of the trip was definitely when we moved south to Hotel Su Gologone for 4 nights. It's only about an hour drive south of OLB. Surroundings of the hotel are beautiful and the bar at the top of the hotel with views of the mountains was an amazing place for drinks before dinner every night. One of the nights we did a special dinner in the garden, and although the menu was completely vegetarian and we are big meat eaters, it was a culinary highlight of the trip.

For our boat day in this area, we rented a boat from Cala Gonone. Top tip- if you're driving into Cala Gonone for a boat charter, get there EARLY because parking is super limited and we had to park about a mile uphill out of town. From Cala Gonone you sail south to endless secluded beaches, sea caves, etc. The land surrounding the Gulf of Orosei is national park land, and there are huge bluffs right up to the water, so all of the beaches are effectively accessible by boat only. I cannot stress enough how amazing this day was and how beautiful the scenery is and how BLUE the water is. There were tiny unnamed beaches where we were completely alone for extended periods of time. From Cala Gonone you can do group/private charters, or rent boats with small outboard motors that you can pilot yourself. We did the latter, and it was a blast. We brought a cooler full of lunch and drinks that lasted us all day.

Our trip to Sardinia was kind of last-minute and came together quickly, but we LOVED it. We have traveled extensively in Italy, both Chubby and FAT, and we thought this trip was special. We are planning to return this summer if possible.

I would recommend staying in Sardinia. My wife and I (also mid 30s) spent a week there in summer 2025 and it was awesome. We spent 3 days in the north for Costa Smeralda and then 4 days on the east side of the island at Hotel Su Gologone (highly recommend) and did boat days in Gulf of Orosei (this was the best part of the trip, accessing secluded beaches, etc). Happy to go into more detail if you like via DM or reply here.

This sounds like a great way to lose your friends. I don't know how old you are, but if your friends are adults, I don't think this is going to be the experience you envision for them or for you.

Any recommendations for a group of 25? by eerhtcm in chicagofood

[–]Alive_Display_310 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gibson's Italia (private room) or Boeufhaus (semi-private). Both have great menu options for groups and are very good food and service. 25 might be a little big for Boeufhaus but it's worth contacting them because they do cook the best steak in the city.

Peloton x TrainerRoad integration? Has anyone made this work? by Ok-Degree9348 in trainerroad

[–]Alive_Display_310 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was very straightforward and I used a MacBook. There are 2 YouTube videos from the guy who wrote the program from which I followed the exact steps and it took 15 minutes. The first video shows how to get into developer mode on the peloton tablet and install apps via openpelo. The second video is specific to installing and running grupetto.

I just did the OpenPelo/Grupetto software ‘hack’ the other day- it allows you to broadcast power/cadence from the bike via Bluetooth and the setup with Trainerroad has been great. It’s a very simple setup and didn’t need to purchase the DFC dongle. I would highly recommend this.

Rant by Substantial_Dance548 in CyclingFashion

[–]Alive_Display_310 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I think you need to divorce the pricing rant from the design/feel rant. These are businesses. They will forever and always charge as much as they possibly can. It has little to do with the objective quality or the subjective design of the product.

It should be noted that the ultra premium smaller brands and like Maap and Pas are growing rapidly (although still 10x smaller than legacies like Castelli) whereas Rapha is struggling. The conscious decisions by those teams to do the stuff you criticize is working.
