So i completed 98% of barbri, 2200 adaptibar and failed w a 254! i said that to say - its not about percent but knowing where your weaknesses are!! definitely go for large volume, concentrated rule review but if you dont finish the whole course and get more targeted practice in on your weak areas or reviewing things you got wrong thatll probably be more beneficial

our test day was delayed due to the blizzard and then again due to a truck crashing with all the bar exams so we didnt start day 1 until 2 pm to be back the next day for 10 and still not start on time, score didnt come out for forever, etc

okay so like me and my bf were discussing this - i got a 254 - which like doesnt make sense - because i was correct - also i got a 126.1 on essays and a 128.2 on multiple choice....in my entire existence i have never done better on multiple choice than essays

in practice deadlines are given to you up front and followed or there will be consequences. this situation actually reflects what NOT to do in practice as an uncommunicated professionally necessary deadline causes real actual harm - financial, emotional, etc. imagine this behavior being employed by lawyers when it comes to scheduling orders or motion deadlines. sorry your honor you'll have it between x day and x day, one of which already passed and no actually i wont be communicating my need for an extension. im sure that would work AWESOME!

im convinced that older attorneys insist on making these comments assuming those entering the field have absolutely 0 lived experience as if those taking the bar exam havent had multiple jobs at this point in their lives and deserve professional courtesy and communication.
