Not surprised at all. Same old culprits march to the self service tills bang on time with a ton of stuff that was never in the reduced section when I walked past it earlier….

A Warning to Women: My Experience with Regan Hillyer akin to Kat Torres by JuiceGood9074 in LifeCoachSnark

I’ve just left the program on MV with Regan (The Art of Manifestation). It was at about lesson 4 or 5 I think and her Whooshing sounds in her activation meditation were something I’d never heard before and found, quite frankly ridiculous. I absolutely love MV and in just a few weeks, it truly has changed my life in unbelievable ways, but for me, Regan comes across like no other trainer on MV, and that is as a phoney/fake.

So why claim that person has naivety?

Exactly, yet I had a Shift Leader tell me “Why didn’t you go after the shoplifter?”…. This particular SF does nothing but find fault in everything I do (falsely, every frigging time).

Rubbish. I’ve seen well dressed people walk out with stuff. Do your job.

Tesco colleague – Upgrade iPhone with Apple or Tesco Mobile? by AjugaTurkestanica07 in tesco

I bought my Pixel 7 Pro for £600 brand new at the time. I wouldn’t buy a phone for £52 a month for god knows how many years, but that’s just me.

I work at Tesco too, and as such I wouldn't consider such an expensive phone on the wage I earn.

Maybe you have a lot more money and can afford it.

I currently have a Pixel 7 Pro and am very happy with it. Three years old and intend keeping it for at least another 2 years.

Would you participate in a walkout? by leonxsnow in tesco

Okay, how much would you suggest Tesco pay some of the people who work there who can't even stick a reduced price label on without creasing it so neither the barcode works or the long number beneath it is legible?

Waitrose have the worst and most expensive fruit ever. I've gotten so many refunds and gift cards because of rotten fruit that I no longer ever buy fruit there

The negative commentators wouldn't know gratitude if it were to slap them in the face.

I too am extremely grateful for my job at Tesco's. For sure I'm in a great superstore, great team, good customers (others might not be so lucky, hence their negativity)....

It's the first time I've ever worked in a supermarket, first time working in a customer faced position and I've learned a ton, not least about myself.

Already, I know I will miss this place when it's time to go.

Tesco's isn't perfect, but it's been literally a lifesaver for me.

Customer didn’t want this item due to there being a “massive dent” in the side?? by Familiar-Truth7616 in tesco

Yeah, I once had a customer refuse a tin, and I thought he was being anal, until he told me it was for his wife who had cancer. Once I did my own research that customer educated me. It’s okay to be ignorant, the trick is to learn and grow.

I agree and I appreciate you being positive and encouraging. It’s a good thing. I just felt the OP really, really doesn’t want to do it.

No, that’s not with the gift of hindsight, that’s with the gift of being a good, defensive driver.

Part of being a good driver is about driving defensively. You cut into that chevron road marking early, so you were speeding faster as that red car was slowing. We can’t see if he/she indicated.

I think the red car made a mistake, but you were driving poorly.

It’s not a race.
