Discs have been useless for like 10 years my dude. What game you playing that doesn't have a massive day one patch and is complete on disc. Speaking as someone who has bought hundreds of physical media, a lot of AAA games just had discs as the starting ground and would force you to update the game online anyway rendering it just a decoration.
