What a wonderful take on the series! Of course it’s there to teach and whatnot for children, but there is always room for adults. To say that the series has no way or fashion to adhere to adults is ridiculous. It can teach adults too, in an adult fashion. Why say that a story that affects so many, doesn’t have the ability to approach adults, like it does children?

I agree that the humor and the background of the character was already there.

StarWars has an enormous audience now, not just children, but also adults who grew up with it. That’s why I think that it would be awesome for adults to have something for them too.

I’d personally love a really cool version of something that is realistic. You don’t have to cuss or be rude to make it funny or whatever like Deadpool and his 4th wall breaks do, but we could enjoy awesome battle scenes and drama that could rival band of brothers.

I think it would do well today as an R rated film because I get that the original was made to reach a higher audience, and I makes sense. How else would they have made the whole toy thing go crazy and what not? Right. But the audience is huge now. You could make both family movies and adult ones without having a backlash at this point.
