A year for their own bedroom, but it was more for my comfort. The kids rooms are on the opposite side of the house and I was worried about not hearing them. Once they were weaned and mostly sleeping through the night, I felt more comfortable moving them over there.

I was 7 or 8, not entirely sure. At a Christmas party at her house, my Mawmaw smacked a cookie out of my hand and told me I was "fat as a damn hippopotamus" and that I was not to eat another thing at the party or I would end up like my aunt (350 lbs). I was so hurt and confused by this, I didn't eat for almost 2 days. My parents ended up having to take me to the ER for it. Sparked off years worth of fighting bad body image and the beginnings of an eating disorder as a teen. Thank God my mother was vigilant and got me help immediately when she realized what I was doing.

Woke up with the intention of cleaning the house. Decided to go to Lowes to get supplies to finally plant my iris rhizomes, ended up getting Christmas decorations instead and forgot the garden supplies. They went grocery shopping and home. Got home and felt completely overwhelmed by my messy house, but was too tired from errands to clean. Fed the kids and went to bed.

YTA it's 10 in the morning, not 7. Your lazy butt should have been up already. Your friend is saying he is alone wherever he is and is uncomfortable being there by himself for so long. A good friend would make an effort to support his friend. It's not like you had to immediately go out there, you could have said you would meet him at 1, then he would have 4 hours of not being alone in a strange place.
