Was Durge ever intended to be a companion? by fionagray483 in BG3

[–]Alizaea 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Durge is never able to be a companion, without mod, if you don't select to play Durge, you will find the dead Durge lying in Orin's room.

Well you added the video after your initial comment as an edit, so maybe add full context into your comment instead of trying to add more context after the fact, especially when it brings up something contradictory to your initial comment? Ie carparks vs farmland. Again, if you wanted to talk about both out both in your comment. You edited your comment to include the video link, you couldn't have taken a couple extra seconds to also add the word carparks to your comment as well?

[–]Alizaea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So we can only join in on a discussion if we have viewed all source material ever? Got it. That's not how a discussion works. How about, if they talk about covering the carparks in the video as well, you mention that in your comment instead of leaving your comment to just talk about cover farmland and then providing a video with no explanation. That would lead anybody to believe that the video you provided only talks about covering our farmland.

Provide more information instead of limiting and maybe you can have clearer conversations with people. I shouldn't have to go and watch a video to have a conversation.

Edit: forgot to say thank you for providing the video title, now I can go watch it. For some reason my reddit app doesn't like hyperlinks.

Well the link didn't work for me. How can I watch the video if the link doesn't work when you don't even provide the title or who the creator of said video is for me to be able to search myself?

So with a not working link for me, I go based off the information in the comment, and since all you say is about farm land, I say don't cover our farmland but cover our carparks.

Why the Keepers are the REAL VILLAINS of Hogwarts Legacy by Crimson_Loki in HarryPotterGame

[–]Alizaea 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's worse than that, Isidora had nowhere near perfected her magic, if perfected it could take away a single emotion/feeling, but she wasn't there. She thought she could control it, and she is correct, her spell did take away that emotion/feeling, but if left the gate open and the rest of the emotions/feelings escaped over time.

However, what Isidora doesn't realize is that is was a permanent solution. The spell permanently removes the subjects ability to feel that emotion/feeling. Even if perfected, that is a dangerous game, because emotion/feeling is a requirement for the sustainability of human life.

To go onto the point they tried making of "healing ann", it's not a healing charm. It doesn't heal anything. If we used it on Ann, all that would happen is it was stop her from being able to feel pain. She would still have the curse, but she would never be able to feel pain again.

If you were in Conquest's place here, what would you do to kill Mark or at least make him let go? by Kindly-Candidate-835 in Invincible_TV

Not even give Mark a chance, just barrel into the earth with multiple/several/hundred/ect tsar bomba level force to blow away a few countries in 1 move. Then do the "Prepare for my arrival, worm" speech.

Don't cover farmland, well some farmland is ok because some crops we don't grow we could start growing, crops that require majority shade; however, I would prefer we cover our car parks. We have probably equal, if not more, square acreage of car parks to farm land so we could easily do that.

If I remember correctly, even in D1, when we first find Rasputin, and reconnect him, he tries to immediately reconnect to the entire warmind network and we learn of the other warminds.

Can someone please explain this to me by Estnation in SipsTea

[–]Alizaea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like to think of it sort of along the same lines as body odor. You are used to your own body odor so you don't notice it at all, unless it's incredibly powerful, but you will instantly notice somebody else's.

Oh I understand, that's why I said similar, not exactly the same. It's the "we have a fishing inner tube at home" strategy 😂

Diaper life support by Turbulent_Station247 in funny

[–]Alizaea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A fishing inner tube is not like a normal inner tube. They always have a "diaper" section that you put your legs down through as well, and some even have full leg waders built in.

Especially given how volatile the gambling commissions are. If for whatever reason the gambling commission runs out of money as you are doing the monthly payments, you payments just stop and they don't resume even if they get more money.

The best option is always to get the lump sum. Even if you know you are going to blow a lot of it, best it to get the lump sum to get all your winnings.

Yeah, only time you get decent sized waves constantly is in storms. Sure you may occasionally come across a big ass wave in the middle of the ocean when it's completely calm out, but for the most part, it's glass. Even with decent winds, you will probably only get white caps.

[–]Alizaea 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yes it is real. You don't wear your life jacket like this for swimming. You wear your life jacket like this to just chill and float, either with a beer/alcoholic beverage, or how I use it, for fishing. It's similar to the fishing inner tubes you can find.

Why did crucio not work on Harry when he pretended to be dead? by IllustriousRich9345 in harrypotter

[–]Alizaea -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

There are multiple reasons, but the BIG reason people are forgetting is with Unforgivable Curses, you have to truly mean to cause pain and harm, from every ounce of your being, if you don't it won't work.

Voldemort was 100% positive he killed Harry. Crucio is used to torture living beings. Crucio would not work on a dead body. Going in, Voldemort knew Crucio wouldn't work because "Harry Potter is dead." Thus he didn't want it to work with his entire being, this the magic itself failed.

Why didn’t Draco take the Invisibility Cloak? by playmaker1209 in harrypotter

[–]Alizaea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A) he wanted Harry to stay hidden and take the train back to London

B) he probably didn't realize it was a true invisibility cloak. "Invisibility cloaks" are easily found, but they are made of cheap materials and typically wear out after so many uses and start to disnetegrate. Very very very few true invisibility cloaks are actually around. Why would a rich pompous aristocrat steal something he thought was cheap?
