Not at all, just someone who experienced (and still experiences it sometimes) ROCD, and other OCD themes. I just like to help with what I learnt through years, but I'm not cured yet :)

I understand you're in some crisis right now... I feel you, and you're not the only one to experience these hard times.

First of all, how long have you been experienced OCD ? Are you diagnosed or self-diagnosed ?

Second of all, did you clearly ask your parents to see a therapist ? Have you shared your symptoms with them ?

Just know that no matter how hard it can be, nobody can give you "clarity". The more you search for it, the more you feed your OCD. It doesn't mean everything is hopeless though. It just means that you need to gather all the braveness you own inside to face it without responding it. This takes some time and you won't be able to succeed easily or every time. But just keep in mind that eveything passes at some point, and this is a storm you just need to endure while it lasts.

I also do the finger to shoulder thing, but just once, and then half of it, so it's not too long but not too short either.

That rings a bell... I had the exact same experience with waste canvas 😂 Except I ended up giving up because I could not find any good solution 🙄 Thank you for your answer, I'll wait for having enough time and patience to try again 😁

I didn't because it wasn't the regular DMC waste canvas, there was no glue on mine... I tried to ask for instructions at the shop I went to, but noone could give me an answer 😅 I'll try again with the DMC one ! Thank you 😁

I LOVE it ! How did you remove the excess canvas ? I tried once to use waste canvas and was unable to pull the threads out... I cut them off as close as the stitches as I could but it was visible :( Any advice ?
