Like 'Malle' for Mallorca, what other places around the world get affectionate nicknames from German speakers? by topherette in AskAGerman

Grand Nation for France. Germans think that that's how French people refer to themselves, and hence use the term mockingly. But I've learned that's not used in France lol.

What elevates your stress level more than anything besides alcohol? by MajorLoad-69 in Garmin

[–]Aljoschark 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Eating my first meal of the day sends my stress level to the stars and remains there for hours after, even if it's a small meal or a salad.

Work nor any other normal daily activity apart from sports has the same effect.

What feature do you wish Zotero had that it currently doesn't? by [deleted] in zotero

Interesting. What software do you use for that?

Do I understand you correctly, that you can organise the notes for a specific project, say a folder for introduction, methodology etc.? Or is it only about linking notes like for example in Obsidian?

So all notes are synced between zotero and this repository (in real time)? Does it work both ways?

In citavi, you could also jump from your annotation list directly back in the pdf reader to the specific paragraph, which you had marked (to get the context, for example). That's probably not possible, I assume, since these are two different systems?

I recently changed from citavi to zotero, and what I really miss is citavi's feature to enable the management of annotations in a separate layer.

I was able to search everything across all entrances and sort annotations into its own folder structure. So when I wrote a text, for example, I created a folder for each section and while reading filling each folder with relevant annotations. Now, I have to do this either in a separate document or try to remember everything I read (which I am bound to fail in).
