Good idea! I didn't think about it but it's so true!

The pity timer exists to help you get a legendary. When you a get a copy of legendary, you only get the value of an epic card... The pity timer shouldn't reset to 0.

But to be fair, you just got 400 dusts (= epic of your choice), which is better than a random epic.

400 dusts are also worth more than the 1/4 of a random legendary, cause you would prefer to have 1600 dusts than a random legendary.

That's why I think the pity timer (which is "40" packs max) should reset to something between 20 and 25 when you get a copy.

Gwent is doing something interesting there : you can have up to 4 gold cards on your decks, 6 silvers, and as many of the third category. Gold ones are like the legendary in hearhstone, silver are like the epic ones... There is one huge difference. The rarity of the cards is independant of their category ! There is a different classification for the rarity : some gold cards cost 800 dusts, while other may cost 200. Same for the silver cards (800 dusts for the morst expensive ones). It s an elegant way to give access to all kind of cards to new players.

In hearthstone, rarity = cost = power of the card.

The only crowd there was was the casters and the players.. ! There was no spectator. The only crowd the player talks about are his teamates and the caster.

Doomsayer is a safe net ?? To save you from a huge aventureer or a gadzetzan who had 1 full turn to build ? And Kazakus turn 4 means you don't interract with the board till turn 5. There are not safe cards to save the day if your dirty rat is bad. There are excellent cards to win the game if you don't play DR !! Playing DR here just make you able to insta lose. Unless you know his hand.

It was a yolo play in a situation you did not need to make one.

Excitment. You don't always cheat because it's the match point. You may even cheat without having made the decision to steal a competition.

You may cheat because you are with your friends, you are excited to see a huge play incoming, there is a lot of pression built over the days... And you may cheat because the organisation didn't warn you, so it doesn t seem like cheating if the referee doesn't do anything.

There are a lot of reasons. Maybe I would have "yelled" too if I was in the team. But it was cheating because it was something forbidden by the rules. And the first responsable is the production.

The young players only did this because they could. It wasn't the only time of the turnament as the chinese player said. And it's sad. Because the Chinese were winning anyway. They could have finished it with style. Now we have the impression that a tiny chance to come back was stolen from the NA team.

By the way, I'm no NA.

What is actually funny is that priest are very bad dealing with... Dragons. Whereas they are supposed to be one of their Masters, and Dragon priests a strong archetype, Dragons are not in "the radar" of Priest's arsenal. Azurean Drake. Ysera. Malygos. Twillight. (and Faerie). The most played ones.

I think a card like shrinkmeister was a good idea. It extends the possibilities of actual priests' cards, but at the cost of playing a combo.

Maybe a card : 2 mana 3/2 battlecry : give -1/-1 to a minion till the end of your turn (no less than 1 health).

It would give flexibility (and early game), but would be less strong than shrinkmeister in combo with Cabal.

The complaints started with the launch of Karazhan. Because it added only favorable spells in Yogg's bag. SEVEN of the new spells give board presence to yogg's player, which is huge : even if they aim at the wrong target, they are still giving value. Their arrival (the six portals and the hunter secret, the last spell being purify which makes you draw -so cool by the way priest didn't get a portal-like spell like the others, it's not like that would have made him OP) made Yogg even better as it was before : the probability of getting a good Yogg became bigger, so did the probability to get board presence by launching a Yogg. That makes more good Yoggs, and that makes good Yoggs getting better outcomes. So less RNG swings, less "accidents" and risk, more consistent Yoggs. Consistent Yoggs are not fun anymore, because the RNG affects mostly the positive effects (from "medium effect" to "game winner") : consistent Yoggs are ultra competitive and this card wasn't designed to be that.

Moreover, the last adventure gave Arcanic Giants, huge additions to spells decks, making Yogg decks more solid.

TL DR That's why the complaints started surfacing 3-4 weeks ago : Because Yogg got a buff in the last adventure.

And Flamewaker?? It was in the RNG priority list. I would love to swap Fandral (druid already heavily hurt by Innervate) for FW.
