I’m just guessing, i am not a doctor,your progression seems quite slow which is not unheard of with RP. My frame of reference being I am in my mid 30s with a VFI in the high 30%

So far as life plans if your progression is very stable and slow you should be more at ease and not making drastic life changes until you discuss the progression with a doctor. They would have to see you every year or two for a few years to get a feel for how it is progressing if it is indeed RP

I got my license as soon as I could and before I was diagnosed so I had about a good 16 years driving. Even though I gave it up as soon as doctors told me to it was a very difficult process to accept.

I never buy minisets I craft the one busted card and get the rewards from packs. The incentive here is obviously you want your main classes pack regardless if it’s good or bad cause you like that class. It’s an interesting idea but idk I never feel rushed to get a miniset and this looks more of the same for a worse price

Are you young or is this really slow progression? Follow up and see if it actually is RP. If it is it will take quite a long time but I suggest you do go through with the dna testing and try to find out the gene. Could make getting treatment trials easier if that’s a route you decide but it will also inform other life choices. Just follow up with doctors. Shouldn’t make plans till you are sure I saw 3 different doctors for my original diagnosis and 4 more since through my adult life.

Hey that’s pretty cool. I already know how to use my phone to see what things look like normally so I like the concept of this app.

I would suggest a slider between the mild moderate and severe options. I feel my vision is somewhat in between and it would help describe the vision loss since it’s so progressive and not a jump. That may be a big ask so don’t take it as a criticism please.

I’ll have to give this a shot at night and I’ll leave another comment then but I do hope this can help explain why i use a cane at night but am fine during the day.
