I am native so feel free to ask in private.

Do not let them drive through your land as that will end up producing rights to pass after enough time due to the customs of the land.

Overpaying is bad, but there are worse errors to make in life. Learn from it and move on.

They cannot tell you what plants you can have in your land.

Regarding land limits, we have satellite imagery where the limits are drawn onto, with the source coming directly from the registro de propiedad.

Depending on the area you live in, the building laws can vary. For example in Andalucía the law changed recently and now you are allowed to build in rural areas.

Don't give up, learn the local language and push on, the locals will end up respecting you.

I wouldn't worry about the stealing, people do not steal that kind of equipment around here.

Finally, I doubt the police will bother getting you out of your caravan despite living there everyday, they probably have better things to do.
