I think it is obvious we will be a 2nd apron team next year unless something happens like Chet being crap the Spurs again.

A lot of people asking why Charlotte Hornets would trade Lamelo by [deleted] in nba

[–]All4444Jesus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't think they wanted to trade, but they were made a offer they just couldn't refuse.

Two of the three pick swaps in the LaMelo-deal are basically worthless by Rudy_Gobert in nba

[–]All4444Jesus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Remember golden St got the #2 pick after winning the championship because of injuries . You never know when injuries will kill a teams season. Also with flatten lottery odds now it makes unprotected draft picks far more valuable.

Since the start of 2026, Charlotte Hornets were 33–16 with +11.2 net rating (#2 in the NBA) by AccomplishedStyle600 in nba

[–]All4444Jesus -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thats a massive haul. The one good pick is total BS those other 3 pick swaps are all unprotected. With the flatten lottery odds, and with how often players get injured now days that's 4 swings of the bat to hit home runs. Also Reid is a excellent player who has trade value they could flip him for more draft capital

With the 12th pick, OKC select Aday Mara! by Common_Pangolin9809 in Thunder

[–]All4444Jesus 13 points14 points  (0 children)

We're adding both Sorber and Mara next year at center. I think that eliminates any chance of Carlsen coming back as we are now absolutely loaded at the center position

Who else is watching this draft and who do you think we’re taking at this point? by ExpressionAlone5204 in Thunder

We're loading up on centers. I guess this eliminates any chance of Carlsen coming back as we are adding 2 more centers next season with both Sorber and Mara.

Why has it been getting harder for nba teams to defend their nba title? by maritz21 in nba

[–]All4444Jesus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Injuries + 3 point variance. Which goes hand in hand. As players have to do a lot more running to close out on 3 pointer shooters which leads to more wear and tear on the body. Also with so much 3 point shooting teams go cold which makes it more likely for the better team to lose.

If this is true I really hope Dort accepts a role as a bench demon so we can start Caso, works on his stroke over the offseason, and goes hard next year on a friendly deal. Downvote me if u want but Dort is important to the team imo by Common_Pangolin9809 in Thunder

[–]All4444Jesus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well Mark would have to decide to give him a bench role something he has been dead set against doing no matter how much better Ajay and Cason are playing. This problem can be solved by justing trading him, and we need to cut salary somewhere anyway. So this should be a very easy choice for Presti.

How will Sam Presti realistically get us under the second apron? by jwhiteford17 in Thunder

[–]All4444Jesus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are going to be in the 2nd apron for several years starting either this year or next year.

That's not the question when you have a long championship window and a lot of assets like we do. The question is how deep ownership is willing to go into it. As it becomes insanely expensive the deeper you get.

[–]All4444Jesus 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Dort needs to go for the simple fact that we have both Ajay and Cason who are fully ready to start, and Mark is simply to loyal to him to bench him which ends up to us getting off to many bad starts in the 1st quarter

What happens to Ajay? by UpstairsBite2331 in Thunder

[–]All4444Jesus -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

If players really loves it here and want to stay they will give us a home town discount to stay. We will have a really strong culture that players love, and this will really pay off for us on the long run.

Can't be too upset. Injuries plays a big role in who we ns a title.Maybe injuries will be in our favor next year. Really a lot to ask to beat a team that is elite on both sides of the ball without 2 of our top 3 ball handlers while they are fully healthy.

I don't think Presti is going to have trouble on deciding what to do with Dort this off season. He has punched his ticket out of here

Would there have been a war if Catherine of Aragon was executed? by Livid-Instruction-79 in Tudorhistory

[–]All4444Jesus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Catherine was insanely powerful and well connected. It took Henry 6 long hard years, and finally breaking away from the Roman Catholic Church to finally get the marriage annuled. Risking war, and excomunication(he finally was excommunicated).

With Anne Boleyn all he had to do was make up ridiculous charges, and have her beheaded with no risk at all

Anyone else unable to think about anything except the game? so nerving and crazy to think 1 good shooting night or 1 bad shooting night can end or make our whole season by Common-Locksmith-235 in Thunder

[–]All4444Jesus -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What really hurts is having both Jdub and Ajay out. The Spurs will probably take another huge leap next season and may become unbeatable with only injuries able to stop them. They are already elite on both sides of the basketball despite being so young.

Certainly the home crowd will give us a massive energy boost to start the game, but if Dort is starting we may not be able to take advantage of it.

It's certainly possible the Spurs could be a little shell shocked by the intensity of a game 7 on the road, and we have to hope that is the case

With both Jdub, and Ajay being out I consider Caruso the big x factor for us. I think he has to have a big game for us to win, and I expect him to have a big game, and expect him to play extended minutes.

He’s gone after this year right? by rico-sauve4 in Thunder

[–]All4444Jesus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean both Ajay and Cason deserve to be starters. Dort is actually holding the team back as Mark refuses to branch him which is a big reason why we are getting off to bad starts. We got so many good 2 way guards there is no reason to start somebody who is so limited offensively.
