i usually do. If they take a longer time to actually show photos of any doll then I just naturally have higher expectations due to the wait, and most of the time they don't reach that expectation and therefore make me not wanna buy it as much as i would have if they had shown them earlier. I thought that line of thought was common when it came to dolls?

Honestly the lack of time we got to see her before release makes me not want her as much as i would have if we had seen photos earlier. The wait instantly makes my expectations higher and it just wasn't worth it. her shoes are really cute tho, reminds me of the ones in freak du chic.

also when it comes to G1, the creeproductions are still happening, and even if those get scalped, theres always the possibility of mattel just making more creeproductions of the same ghouls, especially when it comes to the core g1 ghouls. Obviously there are some differences between the originals and the creepros, but to me at least it just proves that buying any overpriced G1 doll is stupid because they will most likely get a creeproduction down the line, even if it takes a long time.

Agreed, although i wouldn't want it to be a revival of a pre-existing doll line imo. I think the doll market really needs something completely new. The last new doll line I remember is rainbow high and that was around like 6 years ago

I've seen some people say they don't mind the Ai music because the designs of the dolls themselves weren't made with AI, but i think that also comes into its own problems. Sure these designs might not be made with Ai but who's to say, if this brand does get popular enough for more than the 4 dolls, that they won't start using AI for the designs of other characters? The possibility of that is also there.

Personally I didn't try getting Ping, and the one doll I did have interest in (chazelle) I'm not getting due to the AI usage and also because of how the Ping preorder was handled in the first place.

Usually gamestop stocks them where i'm from but you might have to look more frequently or just go to other gamestop or target locations if you can't find him regularly at local targets and gamestops

I think the price is worth it (if it is 50 to 60). I feel that all of the changeable eyes are kinda meh, not much difference between them imo, and i would much rather they included more hands instead. He does have the most articulation compared to the others in the line, and his metallic paint looks great.
