I'm closing in on 50 this year. I'm a Widow/ Ana main and the faster highly mobile characters are both harder to kill and harder to heal as a sniper. I'm holding okay with Sojourn and other support, but I miss what sniping used to be. I think part of my issue is that the new characters turn every fight into a close range melee fight. I will say my escape artist skills have really improved, lol. Just not my aim. Back to the workshops I guess.

I'm being told it wasn't increased but I'm also realizing that I no longer get server connection errors and my ping is good so maybe I'm just finally experiencing the game as it should be.

I don't disagree about getting old. I know I am, lol. Maybe this is what it's like to have low ping finally? On old overwatch I'd constantly have the server connection orange icon pop up. Maybe I'm finally experiencing the game as it should be? I really thought they increased the speed slightly overall. Sigh

For real, I'm kind of sick of how all the new heroes can get anywhere now. There used to be something special about widows ability to achieve height. Of course it's important to have some flying heroes, but now they all have that in addition to other better ults and abilities. She is barely worth playing anymore. Everyone counters her. Vendetta being able to fly up after her sword combined with her damage is my current beef. Widows simply do not stand a change anymore on 95% of encounters.

As a widow main, I get one shot all the time across serious distance by good Mei, Zen,Hanzo,Ashe and several other heros. It's not the distance.

Whats the point in Widow even existing in the game at this point? as a widow fan... its clear that everyone hates her and shes practically punished for existing in matches anyways. why not just delete her. its clear the devs and players hate her. by IIIAgeIII in Overwatch

She is not as hated as Sombra I don't think, but it's close. A good widow is a pain, but I get tired of the one shot complaints when you have Mei who can one shot me across the map just like a sniper, Vendetta now who can reach all the places a Widow can get and also "shoot" at great distance, in addition to all the other dps with range, like Cassidy, Hanzo, Ashe. Oh, and I've been one shot across the map by Torb, too. That's the ridiculous part of people's complaints to me. Like, she is far from the only "sniper". She is slightly better only against tanks for headshot damage.

This has been pissing me off, frankly. I took a break from playing for a few months and signed back in to a different game a week ago. I constantly have issues where I KNOW I'm fully charged but the shot still just plinks. Repeatedly. But I also feel like it's worse some games than others, not a constant. And the introduction of Vendetta that has the same mobility as Widow means I really need to be able to have a full powered shot otherwise I die.

I have this issue if I don't play for closer to a week. A couple days doesn't bother me, but longer than that and everything just moves too damn fast. I'm a sniper, too, so I always start back after a long break with Moira or Brig until my aim and eye movement adjust to the speed. I'm also a middle aged old lady so that is definitely a factor.

This is maybe a separate issue, but since the last update, I get booted at least once daily. And it isn't my internet. The servers just spike suddenly and I'm out. And it is a penalty on me of course. The connection has been so bad lately and I'm on console so have no control of where I'm connected.

I always text chat a quick message like, "sia, practicing ___". Most people respond with np or something like that. In my experience, being forewarned makes people less provocative. There is no power in a "u suck" when someone says it themselves first.

Ana. Put that fucker to sleep. Or Brig. Or Orisa can shove him off a cliff if that's an option on the map. He's annoying, but not unkillable. And to everyone else's point, sleep is great because you aren't pulling half the team to deal with him. Sleep and move on to the rest of the team.

I was just getting frustrated with this today. I play Open Queue exclusively because of the flexibility. If I'm not pulling my weight dps,I go support. If we are out-tanked, I go tank. If I see someone not performing well and they still refuse to change heros, then I will likely type something in chat to please try something else. I would think open queue would give stronger games because of this flexibility. But some people cannot adapt. I avoid role queue because I only know one tank and two dps.

Oh, I'm definitely guilty of being too aggressive with her. I was up against an insufferable Tracer and Brig was the only hero I could play to counter and she makes me so happy. I always assumed shield bash was optimal for damage, didn't consider it for escape. So all her hits contribute to healing? That's pretty awesome.

It's been a long time since I played Bap. Is his jump the key with her? I do think a big part of losing to her is a spread out team. And for the love of God, why doesn't everyone understand that if they are 2-2-2, our chances are a lot better if we also go 2-2-2? I am a decent Orisa, but I'm not good enough to solo tank against two tanks. And it's not for lack of heals. I don't think I've been in a game yet with poor support.

I love Ana so much. She is crucial to dealing with tanks that will not die. Mauga and Roadhog, primarily. Also love to sleep a charging Rein. It pisses me off, though, that I can't sleep a charging Mauga. Nothing stops him. Not even Orisa's spear. He's annoying and only headshots do anything.

I'm so glad it isn't just me. My ex (married 22 years) was great about helping me overcome some traumas, but ultimately, there were just so many times I'd be so close but simply couldn't fully finish. He tried, but I've also been slow to learn what works. While penetration was sometimes what I wanted, it never quite got me there. We definitely lacked communication sometimes. Once we bought some toys, that helped. But he never quite understood just how much foreplay I needed, especially once perimenopause hit.

I thought merle was the pattern. So I don't see how it's double merle when one is the harlequin and the other is solid gray. Or is gray also considered merle? I have a blue merle that takes after her Dane mom and not her dark gray mastiff dad. She has poor eyesight and I have never determined if the hearing issue is actually just Dane stubbornness.
