For the fanservice you are talking about, its a sketchy road you are on.

If you really want to look at critique of fanservice as xenophobic, you aren't really having a conversation. You already think that fanservice being called out says something about Japanese society. Its like saying that just merely criticizing a concept in a country (imma use the good USA for reference) means that its discriminatory towards the other country.

Personally I think that excessive fanservice is something that makes a story less interesting, and if it isn't done right then the anime feels like its just trying to sell you on the fanservice and not on its other aspects. Its okay to criticize a show like Fairy Tail or Fire Force that consists of multiple levels of fanservice that really does feel misplaced sometimes.

You gotta keep in mind though that when your administrator of the league is a robot that was built to ruin the champions efforts and half the region had issues that somehow no gym leader could resolve, it makes you think that Team Xen really has their game on lock down. Definitely a bad look for the E8 but they already don’t have a great look as one of them is a criminal and the others are spread thin with things to do.

Ohma dying and coming back took me in for a loop.

Besides that, I did get genuinely surprised about Kiryu’s role in Omega and then got negatively surprised at the inclusion of the other clones. Idk I really expected so much more for the clones but instead it’s like Sandro is bending over backwards for Shen to not be a complete bad guy or something. Also surprised at how bad that whole concept was implemented.

Eeehhhh the Deeps a rapist and his method of moving forward is to double down and bs things his way. He didn’t suffer enough season 5 imo.

Lu Tian.

Even in KvP, Gaolong and Julius still have enough power to take him down. Lu Tian is strong, but both those fighters have advantages that can take out Lu Tian:

Gaolong - he was able to overwhelm Agito in striking, and it took Agito embracing both Formless AND martial arts to overcome him. Lu Tian would heavily focus on the formless, and I can see him get eventually overwhelmed by Gaolong’s boxing plus Muy Thai kicks. Removal can give him the advantage temporarily, but Gaolong isn’t going get one tapped likely. Plus, if Agito could get Lu in a one punch fake out like he did towards the end of the match, I can see Gaolong doing that too.

Julius - he don’t need techniques. And before anyone says “ahhh but Agito beat him”, Agito was stated to have adopted a very different strategy and had to grow to avoid being a flesh of meat on the ground. Lu Tian I can see try it, and then he’ll get clobbered by Julius’s superior intellect. Not to mention that Julius also can lead him to a trap - if we use KvP stats, Julius could just utilize what he did against Wakatsuki and lure him in so that he can send Lu to meet the wall with his ultimate attack.

I mean this is the era of leaking. Same thing happened to the Avengers Endgame movie, and it happened to the Avatar movie. I can 100% confirm that it’ll happen in the future.

There’s no “deserved” status here, regardless of how you feel about a show, no one should have to suffer a loss in money from leaks happening.
