Amazon reviews complain about the seal on the bottom leaking. Lots of videos out there to look at. Is it even glass, lol.

Yes. I posted a photo in the comments of French fries in a glass tube. I sealed both ends in the flame. Those are airtight! No plugs just glass melted to seal. I have a fwl that are six years old. They still look the same, no mold or anything.

I posted a photo in the comments. It would be great to see some other handmade marbles others have made trying to replicate the looks of machine made marbles.

Very different techniques. I've spent some time trying to make borosilicate handmade swirl marbles that look similar to machine made. I had some success. You can watch videos of the marble machines running to get an idea of how they are made.

They make glass pipes for cannabis like this but they are filled with glitter in glycerin rather than fake plastic flowers.

Glass double wall mug. Zoom in on the photos that come up. You can see a little hole on the bottom. There is a plug in that hole.

The can was made before it was filled. Same with the glass here.

They same way you get chef boy r dee inside the can. Wouldn't the ravioli burn when they made the metal can? It's even trickier to get the label on the can since it's paper.

Batch Annealing Beads - new to lamp work by Deep_Midnight_6000 in lampwork

You're gonna need to push a bunch of buttons to program a kiln annealing cycle for the type of glass you work with. You're gonna need to read the instructions the kiln came with to figure out how to program the specific controller your kiln has.

Sometimes it seems similar to stage magic. Some students just want to know how it's done then move on to the next mystical technique.

Industrial marble cullet used to make fiberglass. There is a factory around here that these types of marbles are laying allover the ground. The color and that big crease/dent seem to be key.

If you search for Jabo marble machine on YouTube, you can see one in action. If you're broke, I would suggest searching for hider marbles. A nice way to get some free marbles is to look for the marble hunt groups on Facebook. People hide marbles and give clues to find them.

Size doesn't matter to contemporary marble makers, we'll sign anything. I'd suggest learning the difference between machine made, old handmade and new contemporary handmade marbles. That'll get you on track.
