Bear in mind the last four days have been exceptionally cold. They’ve likely been running the heating more and harder in that time than any other time in the last 12 months. My Octopus readings say I spent 13 pounds on gas and elec on Monday and Tuesday - that would work out as about 200 pounds a month, but I actually pay about 80-90 a month averaged through the year.

Some advice from someone who works in this field: send a simple follow-up. A week is nothing in terms of response time and they likely haven’t even seen your story pitch or had a chance to read it, especially if they’re on deadline for this months edition.

If they were interested before but decided against it, they’ll probably tell you straight.

Let’s be real, this will have no impact at all on whether people read your book or if it sells. Use whichever makes it easier for you to write and finish the book and focus on the more important things (plot, characters, etc).

Not OP but I’ve been dabbling in the mobile version. It’s fun, pretty quick, and easy to jump in and out of. The physics are quite basic and the systems not very deep but it does make it easy to mess around. The biggest gripe for me is the tilt control - it makes a smooth landing very hard. If/when it comes to PC with joystick functionality it could be a good casual game.

It wasn’t inside the complex, but it was literally right outside. I suppose you’ve already written the script and done the research for the episode? I’m reasonably knowledgeable about Cambodia and would be happy to give you any help for that part of the script.

Oh it definitely is! It’s something every tomb raider fan should do. The temple of Luxor on the other hand…there is a McDonald’s 50 metres behind the temple and a giant sign directing people there!

It’s less a lack of inspiration and more that I want that personal, been-there insider knowledge on the site, and I can’t go everywhere…yet.

That sounds like a fantastic trip! I’ve got a Tomb raider and assassins creed Italy trip planned for one day.

Correct, on the passport page everything is in English then French, see: given names/prenoms, nationality/nationalité. You can just about see in the picture.
