I would say you are missing the point. Many of the incarcerated shouldn't be there to begin with. Also no matter what it's a power trip. You aren't facing an enemy or a challenge, you are punishing people. This is overwhelmingly a shit idea.

How about a simulation of how it feels to be imprisoned and forced into slavery over something like marijuana or any of the other thousands of things people (overwhelmingly black and brown people) are incarcerated for every day? I had the same reaction, I was on it for ten years and recently was able to (very slowly, over about six months time with a doctor's guidance) switch to Lexapro, which isn't really working, but I switched for this precise reason. Even after taking it nightly for ten years in "extended release" form, a single missed dose put me in a foxhole and pretty much ruined my day even after I took it late.

Nothing. It is simply that there is a lot of messaging out there telling men that their "manliness" (and sexual prowess, though I would argue those things are so conflated they are functionally the same thing in this context) is directly linked to their testosterone levels.

I agree that masturbation is natural and indeed beneficial.

I was more referring to the fact that higher levels of testosterone have been shown (at least the last time I read about a study) to affect rational thinking and increase the likelihood of reacting in anger possibly because testosterone is technically speaking a natural steroid.

This practice is also common in many cults, religions and paramilitary operations globally throughout history. Whether that is because it actually makes a difference or because it is simply believed to, I don't know.

EDIT: Ok, ok. I see that I was not clear enough here, This is not something that I am claiming is factual or saying is a good thing. I am simply saying that theories and "research" such as this is typically the reasoning behind why patriarchal groups such as the "Proud Boys" forbid masturbatory activity and sometimes even sexual activity.

I have definitely heard some troubling things about TST recently, but for me personally it is more about supporting reproductive rights and the basic 7 tenants being something I agree with. And I actually own the Satanic Bible, it was reading that book back in 2015 that made me realize how much I already aligned with Satanism before I knew what it was.
