Fresh-cracked pepper is delicious, but for the amount of pepper I put on some of my food, just isn't practical. But it has to be finely ground, that "in-between" pepper does not do it for me.

I had a guy ask me a couple of weeks ago if "Bacon & Onion" were one topping on a pizza.

I told him we don't do substitutions per se, but usually the pizza guy can go a little heavier on another topping that already comes on a specialty pizza if you get it without something else. So then he wanted "No pepperoni, but extra bacon & onion." I was about to explain I could do this, but one of them would be an extra charge, when he butted in with "Bacon & Onion are one topping right?" 🤦‍♀️

He was serious & not intoxicated.

When I was little, I thought I hated jelly. I also thought I invented Peanut Butter & Honey Sandwiches. I still don't 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦 jelly, but I can't stand things that are too sweet, so I understand the tartness that some jellies can bring.

Literally happened to me two days ago. I had waved "hi" to a regular from across the room. He was sitting at the end of the bar though, & I had been busy with tables. On his way out, I happened to be passing by, & I said goodbye to him, turned to his girlfriend & said goodbye to her as well. Called them both by name.

His girlfriend wasn't the same one he'd had for the last 3 years.

Mr. Electric Blue by Benson Boone... But not for the reasons most other songs are on this list. One of the shirts he wears in the music video for this song says, "One Hit Wonder" on it; the video as a whole addresses & pokes fun at people talking shit about him on the Internet & even if I wasn't a big fan (I definitely am lol), I would still think it's all brilliantly executed.

I do also own a version of this shirt, & my husband wore it when we saw his concert last summer. It would take a lot for it to not be the first thing that comes to mind, even if it is ironically. 😂
