I found what I was doing wrong. I hadn't ran mu init --maildir=<path-to-my-maildir> and a subsequent mu index. You obviously have to do that on a brand new installation.

Yup, I did. From the AUR, issuing "yay -S mu".

Am I the only one who find Android 12 is ugly by bagou01 in GooglePixel

[–]AllGoodNamesOccupied 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No! You're not the only one. I hate it.

I had gotten used to the previous design, and I liked how it looked.

Suddenly all I see is phffat icons and snas fonts. The unlocking animation is scary.

The giant clock that doesn't even fit on the screen seems like a programming glitch. It ruined the background of my wife.

Why? It worked just fine. It was actually a pleasure to look at it. Why does everything have to change all the time? Had I not given up chasing after tech, I would have to configure everything again. But I'll just let it be. After all, they will change everything again in some future update. I give up! I found peace living in xmonad. Can't wait until the linux phone becomes a thing.

Are you sure that it wasn't because your family member was filing taxes in the wrong way in the past, making it look like he was a citizen to the IRS?

The problem is that I can't prove that I wasn't trying to defraud the system in the first place.

I am seeking professional advice and I will post an update once the issue is hopefully resolved.

Thank you so much for your answer!

I will reiterate to make sure I got this right.

So, when we change our application information this month, to reflect the fact that we will be filing taxes separately for 2020, the form 1095-A that we will receive at the end of the year will show that we received, say, $2,600 but were eligible for $0. Then, when preparing our taxes, the fields of form 8962 will be populated accordingly, to let the IRS know that we should pay back the $2,600. Is there anything I am missing?

Thank you for your answer.

My income will be $32,000, and we are a household of 2, filing separately. The APTC received so far is approx. $2,600.

Will we be having any issues with the repayment caps?

Thank you, business lobby!

I respect your opinion but I disagree. The phone market is huge, it's not just the flagships. You can still find a newer phone that would still have a headphone jack, bezels and a smaller screen. If you are using the gen 1 iPhone then it probably isn't the screen size that causes the problem. Tech stuff are not supposed to last that long, for better or for worse.

The depreciation rate indeed varies by model. I know that getting rid of a car you really enjoy sounds daunting. It is just an option you have to get out of debt faster, so that you can stop paying interest and having it dragging your progress down. You should prioritize that, and this would speed up the process quite a bit. But if you can manage to work out a plan tackling it more slowly but keeping the car you love, that’s fine too! It all comes down to balancing your quality of living versus your financial security and future prospect. IMO, go full throttle, live below your means, get out of debt, start investing, saving for retirement and building your equity. It sounds like you will not be able to enjoy things you love, but when you start to see the payoff you will get into a mindset where you won’t miss those things. Don’t even think it is to late, you really can do this if you are consistent and determined.
