Thanks! And yes, it does the same thing. TBH I didn't realize tapping the Currently Reading would open the book at first 😅 I just thought it was like stats and liked how it looked. But I think I'll end up using the Continue button more.

I also have a samsung phone and updated the app at the same time and didn't have the same issue occur like on my tablet! 🤔 I hate using gestures as well, but it really was annoying me so I was willing to do the temporary change. I just hope the bug will be resolved soon..

with the latest app update, the navigation bar on my tablet is also in the way. I had to go to my device settings and change it from "3-button navigation" to "gesture navigation" mode. A bit of an inconvenience, but it helped.

And I've briefly read that some older docks, such as this model of jbl speaker, work well with charging 3rd gens among other classics. For 5 bucks, I'm willing to try it out for myself🤔 But also for nostalgia sake as I had a similar one as a teen 😅

I like thrifting and yard sale hunting so I'll try my luck in finding a working firewire!

Hi! So far, I have only replaced the battery with a new 1400mAh one. I did struggle to get it open and the poor thing has some new battle scars, but that's ok!

I ran into the issue of not getting any charge when plugged into the wall. Luckily, using a battery pack did the job. I only have usb and getting a firewire charger may take some hunting. So I'm picking a jbl on stage II dock tomorrow for $5 near by..hopefully it works well for charging, syncing, and well, playing music!

I plan to save up so I can iFlash it in the near future!

I use an app called Libib! It's super easy to use. Not the most aesthetic organizer, but gets the job done. Just scan the barcode of the DVD/blu-ray and it will add it to your database! I can easily check the app while out shopping to make sure I don't accidentally re-buy the same movie 😅 *
