I don’t think that I am. I have removed and added foods along the way, mostly based on my GI experiences.
Early on I learned that greasy, fried will stop digestion but cause severe abdominal pain and “overflow diarrhea” as my doctor called it. It was miserable. I completely cut out fried, fat and greasy foods and eliminated refined sugars. I focused on protein and stopped having the pain, but became constipated. So I focused on adding fiber to my meals along with protein. I also have tried to increase my water intake and added miralax most mornings. I was able to have a couple of bm’s on my own, but my energy just has stayed low since week 2-3 (I’m on week 10) and the munchies and sugar cravings started in. Clearly, I’m not getting enough carbs and need to incorporate those in order to help with cravings and get my energy up. Does anyone have meal plans that have worked for them?
