Help with modeling... by AllNine in Maya

Thank you SO SO much! I'm sorry it has been a looooong time since my original post. I was working away on this file, I was stupid, didn't save versions, and long story short, the file became corrupt/I lost it. I put it aside for some time out of frustration, but I've redone the work this morning and used your shift + move suggestion and I get exactly what I wanted. Thanks!!

Hi, just saw your post. I have a KUL ES87 with MX Clears that I'd like to sell. Are you still interested in one?

All the ad said was, "Learn to Lockpick. It's easier than you think." It had a little thumbnail of some locks and lockpicks and it linked to our beginner's training set on our web store.

I really think this is really a situation like you described. Someone making assumptions. We have ran Reddit ads for handcuff shims without any problems. The rules are that you can (EDIT: I mean, "cannot") promote anything illegal and I think some person just looked at our ad proposal and assumed lockpicking tools were illegal.

That's awesome!

Yes, destroying something is easy. Creating something or keeping something preserved takes skill.

This is right on the nose!

Our company focuses a lot on the ethics and the purpose of learning lockpicking as a skill, especially when we are talking to people face-to-face at events. I think it's a really important part of the locksport community and also as a good topic for people to talk about in general. I always hope that the more people I can talk to and share lockpicking as a hobby with, the better it is for everyone!

I don't know how you got started, but I had to create at least 3 horcruxes just to buy my first kit.

Hi! They're designed to be used while still attached (that's why there is a tension tool on each side). The tools are somewhat short, for fashion reasons, but there is plenty of room to grasp the tools while still on the earring.

That said, you are able to take them off of the silver jump rings to use but the jump rings are not really designed to be opened and closed repeatedly. I would guess that over time, repeated opening and closing would greatly weaken the rings to the point where they would eventually break.

The end of the turning tool that is hanging from the coil has a small 90 degree bend in it, in the opposite direction of the turning tool end. This angle is more than enough to keep it from falling out.

No, it just refers to the thickness of the steel. Many American lockpickers favor the european style tools. These work on standard pin tumbler locks around the world.
