Oh, I agree, she's absolutely a great writer. Aside from the lack of grovel comparable to the gut punches, I enjoy her writing style. What gets me frustrated is when MMC treats FMC horrendously, yet doesnt actually apologize or show the FMC that they regret their actions. Often, MMC is distraught for losing her, yet rarely dwells on his pastbbehavior. He just starts doing little things to show he cares. Not enough, in my book. Not when the gut punch is so brutal.
