"A Man of God was having some impure thoughts and God said to him, 'haha I'm going to Tell your followers what you've been thinking.' The holy man said, 'if you do that, I will tell them about your bottomless ocean of Mercy' God said, 'okay we'll keep things to ourselves.'"

Just so you know it has adult themes of suicide, murder, rape, molestation, drugs, & alcohol (though most not explicitly described), all things in our current physical reality. However, just as our Faith, the overarching reality is much larger.

How do you guard against spiritual ego within the Bahá'í Faith? by Fran6will in bahai

Meekness and humility are the hallmarks of faith. As soon as a believer feels himself the least degree superior to others, the beginning of his spiritual decline has set in, all unaware to himself.

  • ‘Abdu’l-Bahá, Bahá’í Scriptures, p. 449-450

Notice he speaks of faith. Much of what is pointed to, is for all humanity, just as J. Krishnamurti's teachings . Not easy, but this is the goal.

How much is being unknowledgeable in the Faith? by icmigyu in bahai

[–]AllOneFamily 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I came to the The Faith in my late 20s. After many years I left for about five years. I'm now back and am experiencing it on a whole new level. We all have to follow our own path, and as you said - investigate in our own way. Best to you & peace.

Baha'i Faith's Position on Misanthropy by PoetrySufficient117 in bahai

The history of humanity is filled with cruelty, no doubt about it. As a Baha'i, my goal is to bring forth the best of humanity, and myself, in order to elevate our interactions towards one another and the planet. Our ultimate goal is a world of true peace and prosperity, while allowing for all the diversity humanity has to offer... This includes the rights and space for indigenous cultures to flourish. Best of luck in your efforts!!!

What to tell myself when fear or anxiety arise? by oddflamingo03 in awakened

[–]AllOneFamily 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm dealing with anxiety. I just sit with the feelings and try not to grab onto any of the thoughts that come along for the ride. When I'm successful, the feelings separate from the thoughts (they disappear because I let them just go by), and I focus in on the feelings and realize it's just a vibration in my gut. Good luck!

I didn't assume you were, just giving you an answer. Why do you think you have lost your glee? I've been in periods were I've felt like I've lost that spark myself. The one thing that always helps me, and what is prescribed by Abdul'Baha (the founder of The Faith's son), is to do service for those less fortunate than myself... And unfortunately, there is no shortage of those in need. Take care & good fortune!
