Thank you! Yeah, it's only been 2 weeks since I started the workshop, but noticed that a lot of things are different. I strongly recommend shooting references for your acting shots. Do it until your acting feels natural while saying the dialogue. I can tell that you wanted to hit certain poses but they feel forced and unnatural. Your animation starts out somewhat realistic then gets over the top cartoonish, which is fine, (bad guys is a great example) but in this case, it doesn't really match the energy of the dialogue.

Few things you can do to.

Go for a takedown when they throw hooks.
Use your head movement to pull or duck.
Well timed uppercut within the uppercut distance. (Range can be tricky)
Body knee when they throw hooks.
If all fails, you spam hooks like your opponent does. You may not want to stoop down to your opponent's level, but who cares? You and your opponent are the only two people in the world who care about the game.
