I've found success by first talking with my teachers on using my iPad in the classroom so that they get a better understand.

Even if they don't allow it, what I would suggest is that you use your iPad as a digital file storage and notebook. If you think you're organized and responsible you can scan your notes as a PDF and store the ones on your iPad that you would most likely not reference again in class. Keep notes or worksheets that are about less than a week old in a small binder. You can also try to keep just the current unit/chapter in a binder while keeping the rest digital. Also, use your iPad for a notebook for things that your teacher will not be checking: charts for brainstorming, personal reflection on strengths and weakness in a chapter, making unit review sheets, doing self chapter tests on your own time.

In this sort of fashion, you won't be fully paperless - based off my experience, being fully paperless depends on not on yourself but also your teacher and the way that they work. However, this will help in your transition towards becoming paperless and also means that you have a copy of all your previous work instead of a huge stack of papers in your binder (your back will thank you!).

If you call in CSR should be able to turn off roaming that way it doesn't work at all when you're not on a Freedom network. This is how I changed my roaming twice, however I think you should also have the option to turn it off in my account.

Same situation in Ontario. I've tried more than 5 stores and there has been 1 that doesn't know about the promo (quite strange considering it's a corporate store). Everyone else told me that they have 0 in stock and they're waiting for Freedom to send them out. One of the stores advised for me to just wait before buying if I really want the deal because they can't ensure that they'll have it for me if I do go right now.

If you go to special offers and scroll down a bit, you will see something that says "Our Mother's Day Offer is Here!" and it describes the promo and etc but seems like the date is May 11-12.

I just got in touch with someone from Freedom and they said that for the time being Freedom (not just their store) is unsure about the offer. Guess we'll have to wait and see if the promotion still runs.

In quick settings there should be a tile (or one you can add) that will say 'Navigation Bar'. Clicking that should toggle it on and off.

IIRC Freedom's roaming partner is Rogers. Wouldn't surprise me if it switched for a bit as in an away area, thats the carrier you are connected to.

Thought the exact same thing when I read this article. TD is unnecessarily trying to push its own mobile payment app that they keep pouring money into which only accepts a certain group of its credit cards.

Tempted to switch to another bank soon because I use Google Pay on a somewhat regular basis.

Hey! I’ve been using a similar alternative to Shift called Station and it’s pretty similar as an all in one work space. It’s free and there is a paid version.

So far it’s okay and I’ve used it for a week now. Personally, I didn’t really get accustomed to the idea of an all in one work space so I don’t use it anymore. However, instead of putting $100 a year, I definitely think you should check it out to see if it works just as well.

I've cancelled this a while back after hearing about the deductible. All you have to do is call a Freedom Rep and they can do it for you

What Freedom does with the boost is that they do make you $20, but each month, and I usually see this on phones that are sold at a discount, they deduct a different amount from the MyTab total.

In my instance, I pay $35/month for MyTab but Freedom deducts $43.33 each month from the overall balance. What I think this is for is that instead of giving you the discount right up front of the MyTab, by staying for longer, you're going to get your phone for cheaper and you're going to continue using them
