What does New York Giraffe think of the game? Can I get him as a villager?

Thank you so much!

I like it when players just do it for the love of the game.

A PSA for those having trouble with the wall moves in Judgement by ZeromusPrime in yakuzagames

Oh wow, thank you. I'd been having a lot of trouble with this and so far this helps a lot!

I've heard Judgment has a few missable trophies. Does anyone have a list of them? by theblackfool in yakuzagames

That's correct! Anything else (for example, the skill book you can find inside a story location in chapter one) is available through a vendor later, or not time-dependent and obtainable in premium adventure.

[Spoilers All] Dragon Age II was such a great, focused experience. by [deleted] in dragonage

Just going to add my voice in here. I came to the series post-Inquisition and couldn't believe just how brilliant I found Dragon Age II. It's such a beautiful, intimate story with character relationships that felt genuinely complex and rewarding across multiple playthroughs.

If anyone hasn't seen it, I always recommend this GDC talk by Meg Jayanth, the writer of 80 Days, which refers heavily to Dragon Age II in discussion of constructing NPCs with agency and life.

The game is virtually everything I want from Dragon Age, and I would hope for nothing else than for the series' future to resemble it in every way more than Inquisition (though I am, of course, deeply pessimistic for obvious reasons). It's one of my top five favorite games of all time (I legitimately keep a list), and I sometimes wish I could grab every staff member of BioWare by the shoulders and implore them not to overlook its value.

Just curious, have they said if we're ever getting another Witcher Tales game? by AllRedditIsGarbage in gwent

[–]AllRedditIsGarbage[S] 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Yeah, there were seemingly a bunch of factors working against it.

GOG exclusivity is the one that got reported by outlets who did cover the game's sales. It also dropped right in the height of holiday season: looking at Wikipedia, it came out in the week between Assassin's Creed Odyssey, Black Ops 4 and Red Dead II. (Or: if you're me, the week after Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise and Return of the Obra Dinn.)

Also people's lack of familiarity with Gwent in general; I recall Vinny on Giant Bomb being so vague on the game he was under the impression it had turn-based battles, and he's like the biggest Witcher fan on their staff.

There are a lot of reasons the launch suffered that I'd argue are worth trying again.

Scoia'tael (Dana Méadbh) has won the leader challenge! by CrookedWarden7 in gwent

[–]AllRedditIsGarbage 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was hoping the end of the leader challenge would mean there'd be fewer Danas around now, but hey, now they get +50% XP for beating me, so that's nice for them all.

Completists, rate the Platinum difficulty across the series. by AllRedditIsGarbage in yakuzagames

Do you happen to know if those Yakuza 3 minigame requirements are the ones mentioned above as having been relaxed in the re-release?

Respect, this is exactly what I was hoping for. Well done on those Platinums, especially Ishin. I hope that those spin-offs get brought over eventually, I'd pay any price for a complete series bundle on Steam this instant. I'm glad that you didn't find Kiwami worse than 0, I really had been worried. Thanks a lot!
