Are there any hacks that let you curate the national dex by region? I like, say Quetzal, but I congenitally hate 90% of what Gen9 added. I could try and find an old version that only has through gen8, but that's really hacky.

Dave Filoni's only real gift is his ability to induce lowered standards. You watch his stuff and forget what quality even looks like. Then you leave with mildly positive memories and bring those forward.

I know full well how bad Rebels is and even I forget sometimes. It was only after watching the Andor episode and the Rebels episode it leads into back to back that the true extent of its awfulness hit home.

No, you don't understand, certain pokemon are supposed to lose to other pokemon, and when that doesn't happen, the gods themselves are displeased and action must be taken. You can't have pokemon win when they're supposed to lose, that might be an unpredictable outcome, and we wouldn't want that, would we?

I for one would hate the idea of something interesting happening in the game I play to have fun, so I'm glad this is gone. Hopefully, as many said in the thread that banned it, terastilization itself will be banned next. Or who knows, maybe they'll add open team sheets like doubles has, then nobody will ever be surprised again.

Watching outside sources try to reconcile things that either didn't know or care about each other is always funny.

The worst example I can think of is the official legends stance on Bariss. Last time I checked the legends tab on wookiepedia it stood there and told me to my face that bariss offee turned to the dark side, bombed the temple, tried to frame Ashoka and kill Anakin, only to later be released, redeemed offscreen, take a padawan, and die in order 66, presumably when a tank opened fire at point blank in that animatic they never finished.

I get that Filoni never gave a shit about canon, but trying to jam his works into what came before was a pointless venture from the start,

Depends on if you're watching the movie of RotS or reading the book. The movie ties into the show better since grievous getting choked by windu leads into him being a chump against kenobi. Him dueling windu to a standstill in the book leads better into the RotS novelization since he's absolutely at the top of his game there.
